"What happened from there?" I urged once one of the nurses had given her water and checked her vitals before we could continue. 

"I decided to drug him," she smiled softly, "I made his dinner one day after work then slipped a pill into his wine. Once he was disorientated enough I started questioning him. I recorded the whole conversation on a burn phone I hid at my mother's house. I could not figure out who he was working for but the person had lots of money and paid Henry well. They had a terrible plan."

"What was the plan?" Joe frowned. 

"From the sounds of it they planned to assassinate the King along with Doctor Belmont on the day of their wedding. Knowing fully well Apollo and Iris could easily be overpowered and with the twins being babies, the royal family would stand no chance," she gulped and her skin paled painfully.
