42| Iris's Heartbreak

"That went better than I thought," Ezekiel smiled as we entered my bedroom. 

"I just hope it didn't unleash a can of worms," I joked as I walked into my closet then quickly changed in to my pajamas. 

"Let me get going I'm sure they're done talking. Is there anything you want me to tell lover boy," he teased. 

I rolled my eyes and smiled despite my irritation, "tell him I'll call him later." He nodded and left me alone to unwind after a unique dinner. 

Just as I poured myself a bit of scotch in my glass my bedroom door burst open and there stood Iris. "Iris?" I questioned her wondering why she just stood there staring at me. 

That was when a dam of emotions burst, "H-he's in a relationship Adonis," she sobbed and immediately ran into my arms.
