25 Haters gonna hate us cause they aint us

Today will be our last group match. Our group is in a very strange position as South Korea won against Mexico. With South Korea having 4 points. Us having 4 points and Sweden having 1 point. And Mexico having 1 point.

If Sweden or Mexico wins this game high enough and we lose ours we won't be able to advance to the knockouts.

This high enough isn't much as we only have a goal difference of +1 and Sweden and Mexico of -1. South Korea also has the same as us +1.

This means everyone will be able to advance or be kicked out. 

Soon after the game started. The same formation as last time.

The game started very boring of course. Nobody wanted to lose this match and maybe not qualify for the World Cup knockouts.

This was going on until the second halftime. We soon heard that Sweden shot the 1:0, soon after the 2:0, and in the 81st minute we heard that they shot the 3:0 in the 74th minute.

We now played even more defensively. Our players and South Koreas were evenly lined up on both sides. We were both playing with tight spaces. Suddenly it happened.

In the 92nd minute. The last seconds before the game ended.

Young-Gwon a central defender of them shot a high ball over our defense. Nothing that hasn't happened before, we tried the same a few times. But this time, there was a miscommunication between Boateng and Hummels. Nobody got to the ball before Heung-Min Son. He ran to Neuer in a 1vs1 situation. I was behind and accelerated as fast as I could. I ran and ran and ran. I thought about nothing but sprinting right now. I ran as fast as I could and shortly before Son was in front of the penalty area I tackled. No Lahm tackle, not enough time. A pure tackle from behind aiming at the player's leg and cutting them like scissors to prevent bone injury. I didn't hesitate and went right towards the locker room after the end of the game. 

Going towards the locker room the referee immediately showed a red card. 

While still on the field I took off my jersey.

I was very sweaty as this was my most intense game so far.

But something other than that stood very out.

Suddenly everyone saw the scar I got when I was still a baby. I have never taken off my jersey in public, but this time I didn't care.

The scar spread over my whole upper body. From my right shoulder to the left hips. It looked like the scar of a Lion.

This suddenly reminded every German person of their former Captain. "Lion King" Kahn.

Going into the catacombs for the locker room Löw and the substitute players suddenly all hugged me and thanked me for making that tackle. Without it, we wouldn't qualify for the knockouts.

Suddenly all the South Korean players reacted and rushed to Son, who was lying on the turf. If I was still on the field they would probably try to kill me.

After the doctor came on and treated him, he could play again. There was only skin trauma as I tackled him with "care".

After the match, everyone hugged me and thanked me. Especially Hummels and Boateng.

On the way to the Hotel, a reporter said, "How are you gonna react to the hate of the Swedes and the South Koreans?"

This is true. The first newspaper in these two countries already published hate articles saying I should be banned for life. Of course, that would be everyone's reaction. I think I would react the same. The reason for South Korea doing that was my tackle against Son. And the reason for Sweden was that they couldn't qualify. 

I quoted a wise man and said, "Haters gonna hate us cause they ain't us"

Teasing Sweden for us qualifying and them not. 

Of course, that maybe was a bit overreacted, because I didn't hate Sweden, I even liked them, but nobody likes criticism and it wasn't that I was cursing them.

As for South Korea, I couldn't say anything against them as I couldn't find anything.

At least in Germany, I was hailed as a hero for making Germany qualify as there was a very high probability for Germany not to qualify if I didn't make that tackle.
