After the game and the coaches had finished deciding, Coach Taylor told them to separate themselves into 4. With those that played the either halves further divided into there teams of either blue or black.

After they had settled down with there teammates, he encouraged them that most of them played really well and they were all wonderful talents. After which the atmosphere immediately became tense as Coach Taylor faced those that played the first half and called up only 2 players explaining that there were limited slots.

Both players were from both teams as he explained that the final score was not important but the performance. The player chosen from the black team was the defensive midfielder while the right back was from the other team, but his performance was solid was good enough. The system had to agree with the choices as both players really performed better than the others in there roles.

After the two players moved forward finding it hard to hide there joy, while the others from the first half were dejected and very sad.

Coach Taylor consoled the others from the first half with some soothing words, before directing those that had not been chosen from the first half to go and change their clothes before going to there houses while he asked the two players that had been selected to stay beside him.

After a while and all the first half players who were not chosen had gone, he then said "Now it's time for the second half team" while facing them.

After he said that, the faces of all those left became very pensive. As some of the players began to pray silently under there breath. Tony was no different to the others as he also held his breath as he waited for Coach Taylor to announce the names.

"You all played well and only due to the limited slots of only five and three slots still being available, that we are now to choose those who we feel have the most room for improvement to becoming professionals." After saying that he looked down on the list in his hand once again before looking up again.

At this moment, all the players still remaining were deathly silently, as it was a moment that could change their lives forever. The system said 'Just calm down, the fact that the attacking midfielder of the black team of the first half was not chosen is already a good sign. As the limited slots will unlikely allow them to choose two players playing the same position.'

Tony once again had no option than to agree with her, as so far she had always been right with her deductions. The system giggled, leading Tony to definitely affirm the fact that she was definitely a female system and not just a machine without a personality.

He also thought about later giving her a name, as always referring to her as 'system' was already felling awkward. Tony prepared his heart as he waited to hear the names that would be called, while he was already sweating more than he sweated during the match.

Coach Taylor cleared his throat as he began calling the names "John Jarvis, Paul Stevens and Tony Lane." Immediately they heard there names they immediately felt relief then a wave of joy, which all three of them tried to hide from the other dejected players but all failed to do. As they stood up to stand beside the other two players.

John was the left winger whose condition to copy a skill, Tony had already achieved but was yet to choose. While Paul was the Striker Tony had assisted to score the second goal.

After consoling them with some soothing words, Coach Taylor asked the remaining players to go and all Five players that were selected to wait behind.

When the Five selected players were now alone, they were congratulated and given a form and a pen, to quickly fill in there details including there phone numbers and emails.

After they filled it, they were told to resume at the same pitch which was the under 18s pitch the next Saturday at 9am which was when all the Academy teams were to resume there training.

Coach Taylor then advised them to get back in shape by training as he didn't want to see slow movements once training began. Then he advised them to exchange contacts with the other selected players so as to stay in touch and become friends.

After they were released to go home, the players quickly introduced themselves and exchanged phone numbers before running to celebrate with whoever accompanied them.

David and Steven were the players that were chosen from the first half. David was the right back of the blue team in the first half while Steven was the defensive midfielder of the black teams from the first half.

Tony ran to his parents and brother to give them the good news and to celebrate. After which his father said they would be going directly to buy ice creams to celebrate. Tony changed and got into the the car while they left the academy.

After Tony finally settled down in the car, he looked at his phone as he saw a message from his friends Paul and Harry telling him about their failures in their trials at Manchester United. It was at that moment that he remembered his friends.

He was also trying to remember why Tom couldn't come for the trials, as he could remember even in his memories of the last time he tried for the under 18s he couldn't make it to the trials. He later remembered that it was because of his grandma's burial which coincidentally was to happen on that same morning.

He decided it was better he told them later about being selected for the academy, as he didn't want to rub it in and make them feel bad. Tony was extremely happy, as he remembered those terrible memories of how he always felt after he discovered he wasn't selected to be a part of the academy.

And how he always felt jealous at some of his classmates, who at one time had the opportunity of being a member of the academy. But later most of them were later released from the Academy, as they didn't have enough promise or talent to remain at the school.

He felt really happy as he found it really hard to stop smiling as he looked outside his window, While his Father drove them to an Ice cream shop to celebrate.
