"Uhn?"

"Like hobbies, favourite things, whatever of that sort"

"Oh…Uhm… I don't know where to start"

"Okay, I'll help you out. What do you love doing the most?"

"Reading, I guess"

"Favourite artist?"

"Billie Eilis"

"Favourite song?

"Lovely…"

"Let me guess, by Billie Eilis"

"Yeah"

"Role model"

"Nelson Mandela"

"Why do you let others bully you?"

"I….I don't know. It's something I'm used to"

"You are always alone, why?"

"I don't have anyone to keep my company, I guess"

"No one?"

"Yeah, no one want to be associated with me?"

"Why?"

"I don't know, they all call me weird"

"Weird, How?"

"I'm not sociable or likeable or pretty enough and I also dress worse than their grandmother". I lost myself and didn't know when I started saying those things out loud.

He reached for my hand when I started spacing out.

"Well, I think you're beautiful and smart" I thought I was hearing things.

"I'm pretty sure that once they get to know you, they will feel drawn to you like I am"

'Hold on a minute…feel drawn to you like I am? Did he just indirectly say he like me?'

"You are the best person to have as a company and within the few days I started talking to you, I knew you are different and better than the others"

'What others?'… "Oh, wait… his exes". I thought I knew where it was going.

"Don't ever look down on yourself"

'Excuse me!? 'What are you talking about"?

"Hey, look at me" he looked me square in the eye and said "If you ever need a friend, I'm here for you"

'What exactly is wrong with this guy? "Friend?" you have got to be kidding me!'

"Thanks, I needed that".

He didn't hug me at all! Just a pat at the back of my hand!

"Let's get back to class"

"Yeah, sure"

I wanted to snap his head off. We went back and I could see Riley looking at me like she would attempt what she did to me the last time and Kate was practically staring daggers at me. Turns out she isn't the only girl who like flaunting money. Mark and Sean were not on good terms and I didn't know what was going on. Mark was trying to tell me something but Sean didn't want him to. It almost resulted into a fight and I hadn't seen Bruce anywhere. Mark was able to pass me a note telling me to meet him at the parking lot. After school, I went there but I had already forgotten about the note. I went home without talking to him.
