Chapter 1

Sarah is a beautiful lady who studied law in college. Her dream is to become a lawyer and help people in need. Her father died from a fatal accident when she was ten. Her mother Teresa and her grandma is all she has now.

Sarah has a restaurant which has been in her family for years but it looks like the restaurant won't last long. The customers coming in are very few and the restaurant is all they have because it pays the bills but of recent, they are in debt.

Sarah is in college and is about to graduate.

"Sarah? are you ready for the final exam that is on its way? gosh! I can't believe the exam is two weeks from now and we'll be a graduate " said Tiffany. Tiffany is Sarah's best friend and co-chef. Tiffany also wants to run. a restaurant in the future and they both want to be partners in it.

"Yes Tiffany, I know. I really want to ace the exam so I'll make my family proud." said Sarah.

Tiffany and Sarah were studying hard and at the same time, they work as waitresses in a restaurant close to college. Back at home, Teresa is thinking of selling the restaurant to pay for their debts.

"Mom what If we sell the restaurant? the money we get from it will be used to pay out debts."

Grandma replied " I don't agree with you. You can't just make this decision. This decision will be discussed after Sarah's graduation."

A week later, Sarah and Tiffany sat for their exam and did their best. Two weeks gone the results were out and emailed to everyone.

"Oh my gosh! it's finally here. Tiffany let's open our emails together, Okay?" said Sarah

Tiffany replied " okay. on the count of three. 1,2, 3 and they both opened their emails. They both rejoiced over their result as their hard work paid off.

Sarah smiled " I got an A".

" I got a B" said Tiffany

They faced each other and said in unity

" We are graduating soon!" and they giggled.

The next one week was a busy one for them because they worked day and night to make enough money so they'll assist their family.

Back at home, Teresa and Grandma are discussing on how to attend Sarah's graduation. At the restaurant where Sarah and Tiffany are working, Sarah encountered a rude customer.

"Is this what you serve here? what rubbish is this?" said the customer.

"Sorry Sir, I'll just get you another one. Excuse me." said Sarah.

Damian and his brother Travis were at another table discussing business.

"I need to get a good lawyer for the business" They were interrupted by the incident in the restaurant. Sarah went in and got another cup of coffee with extra whip just as the customer demanded.

"Here is your coffee" said Sarah.

The rude customer took the coffee and poured it on Sarah and she screamed in pain for it was hot. Damian seeing this, took his red wine and went over to where the customer was and bumped into the customer who was wearing a white suit and said " oh my bad, I thought someone wasn't here. oh what a beautiful suit." Damian said Sarcastically. Everyone laughed at the rude customer and with that he left.

"Miss(Damian called out to Sarah) are you alri..." Sarah has already left the scene before he could complete his statement.

"where did she go? I hope she's alright." said Damian.

b"Sarah! Tiffany called out to her friend. I'm so sorry for what happened earlier."

Sarah who was sobbing earlier wiped her tears and the coffee off her face with some face wipe.

"It's okay Tiffany. I just have to be strong so I'll fulfill the dream of I and my dad. Tiffany hugged her friend.

Tiffany's mom, Rose and her brother Lucas and Joy her younger sister loves Sarah like family.

At home ; " Mom we should please start preparing to attend Sarah's graduation. It's in two weeks." said Teresa.

"Yes yes I know my dear I too want to see my sweet Sarah again."
