Chapter 64: Memorial Ceremony
After dealing with the Bear Demon, Li Hao noticed movement in the nearby cave.
When he scanned with his Divine Soul, he saw seven survivors in tattered clothing, both men and women, around their twenties to thirties, with no children or elderly present.
Their hands and feet were bound with chains, the other ends threaded through the eye of a large stone. Unless they could drag the stone, there was no way to escape.
*Having seemingly experienced some kind of terror, their expressions were dazed, faces filled with fear, some already in a state of stupor, lost in confusion.*
Li Hao sighed silently, controlled the stone to break the iron chains, and released them.
However, even though the chains on their limbs were gone, it seemed some other chains still bound them.
After a brief moment of daze, the seven people looked around in confusion, still staying where they were, with no attempt to flee.
