Startling Awakening And A Harrowing Battle

(Beginning Notes: I spent a lot more time on this chapter than on the beginning one, and I am honestly proud of it, but as usual, feedback is definitely appreciated, whether it's positive or negative, tell me which bit you liked or disliked, and how you would rewrite the disliked part. *Begin Chapter*

As the light began to fade in, Afton immediately noticed something wrong. Within the blurry and limited vision, he could make out a green pasture of grass, complete with a spray of flowers, lumber trees, and the main thing that could not be ignored was the glistening sun that ensured his vision did not improve for a small bit.

(Scraptrap's thoughts:"Not a single bit of ash? Not even a spark? Also, how am I up in heaven, considering the atrocities I commi--")

######:"Hey, look, the other newbie's waking up."

(Scraptrap's thoughts:"People? Here? Hang about, this isn't Heaven. but this cannot be hell either. there are far too many green pastures.")

####:"Give him some space, honey. he looks like he needs it."

(Scraptrap:"Ok, now things are really not making sense. what even is this place and who are these individuals?")

#########:"Come on, you sarcophagus. Get up from your sleep."

(Scraptrap:"Now Elizabeth is here as well? Should I be expecting Michael too?")

As Afton finally woke up, he slowly rose from the grass, once again noting the environment, completely ignoring the Animatronics surrounding him, all but the blue bunny.

William:"Okay, so, I would like an explanation as to where we are, if that is alright with you, Mister Rabbit."

Bonnie:"Makes sense. every newbie wants to know where they are."

Funtime Foxy:"We're in Animatronica, or is it Animatronic Village? Villagetronica, maybe?"

Bonnie:"We're having a vote on the name next Thursday, once we're done with getting you two around the ropes."

Elizabeth:"Good to know that you prioritize newcomers over naming this place."

Bonnie:"Oh, I almost forgot to introduce us. My name's Bonnie and this is Foxy."

William:"Well, might I say that you are the cutest couple I have ever seen."

Funtime Foxy:"Oh, uh... thank you.

Anyways, we ended up taking the liberty of putting an endoskeleton into you two. The Clown was a bit more difficult to get one into without a second hand, but it wasn't too hard."

William:"Funny joke, it's not like you would be able to fit anything else in. This thing is crowded enough as it--"

Upon hearing those words leave Afton's mouth, Elizabeth's eyes shrank in concern, knowing that what would happen next would not be beneficial.

(Elizabeth:"Oh, crap. This isn't good at all. If my dad realises that he doesn't have his corpse anymore, he's going to freak out.")

William:"Wait..."

Whilst William was opening his "mask", Elizabeth facepalmed.

(Elizabeth:"Fatherly freakout in 3, 2, 1--")

William:"WHERE THE #@#@ IS MY BODY?!"

(Elizabeth:"And there it is. Fantastic.")

Funtime Foxy:"I...You're..in it? Right in this bit of the woods."

William:"Ok, what kind of sick joke is this? First, I get locked up into this mechanical prison, then I manage to narrowly avoid a burning building, then after that get locked up into an establishment that's intentionally designed to cook anything alive in there, and now, I am an actual Animatronic?!"

Whilst Afton was ranting, Bonnie swiftly prepared his guitar, going for a sideways swing, intending to whack the glitch out of him, but striking both William and Elizabeth once he was done.

Afton falls with a swift thud into the grass without so much as a quiet grunt of pain, whilst Elizabeth is able to spout some concussed sentences before falling face first onto the grass.

Elizabeth:(Concussed)"WoOwEe, BnNuy WaNna BallOoOnN?? YoUUU WanNa CarRoot?"

Funtime Foxy:"Seriously, Bon?!"

Bonnie:"The Green guy was glitching! I panicked! honestly!"

Funtime Foxy:"Ok, but what about The Clown?"

Bonnie:"I didn't mean to hit her! it was an accident!"

Funtime Foxy:"Well, you hit her, and now, you're carrying both of them. Don't worry about holding both of them AND your guitar though, I'll carry it."

Bonnie:"A--alright, then. Let's get them somewhere inside the village before we get ambushed by Chop'n'Rolls or Gearrats."

*4 Hours Later...

Both the Aftons begin to recover from their unexpected naps, ringing in the ears and occasionally blipping in and out of consciousness.

At the moment, William manages to remain conscious for the rest of the travel, taking his gaze away from the forest, and over to his daughter.

She was not so lucky, occasionally mumbling in a dizzy manner, showing that the strike may have been aimed at him, but that did not mean that Elizabeth was free from an accidental attack.

William:"Eliza--"

He paused. he could easily tell that Bonnie was carrying them both,(though he noted that his guitar was gone, leading Afton to the conclusion that Bonnie either lost his guitar in the woods and didn't bother to find it, managed to break it from the attack, or he gave it over to Foxy so that he could carry the both of them.) so, in order to avoid getting another swing to the back of the head, he had to use the Animatronic's name.

William:"Circus Baby, are you ok?"

Elizabeth(Concussed):"I-i-I aRe Is O-o-OkAy."

Bonnie:"Good god, girl. At this point, dude, I am amazed that she can speak."

William:"You're telling me. She's bad enough normally. This is just awful."

Funtime Foxy:"Well, at least you're conscious enough to move about."

William:"Argh. Don't expect me to do a lot at first, though. My head still hurts. Thanks, Bonnie."

Bonnie:"I'm sorry, ok? You were glitching and I didn't wanna risk anybody else getting hurt."

Whilst William was contemplating what Bonnie meant by glitching, a tree trunk came into view, Bonnie and Funtime Foxy moved towards it with the idea to rest. They went to pitch the idea over to William.

Funtime Foxy:"Hey, new guy! There's a stump up ahead! You wanna rest there?"

William:"Yes, but once we've recovered fully, we're moving out to another location."

Once Foxy and Bonnie placed both William and Elizabeth down onto the stump, Afton remembered a specific question to ask the others.

William:"Ok, so I have a question, if you would humor the new guy: What do you mean by glitching?"

Funtime Foxy:"Honestly, there's no proper way to explain it other than "People glitch, they become Dangerous". It's kind of sad, really."

William:"I could imagine worse fates, but that would only scale up to the top 3 in comparison to glitching."

Bonnie:"And to think that's the calmest of things to worry about, But moving on. New Guy, do you have a name?"

William:"Of course I do. It's Springtrap."

Funtime Foxy:"Wow, this day's been mixed with miracles and a dash of madness. Two new people appear in Villagetronica, but one of them glitches. And now we don't have to come up with another Bonnie name. What's next, The Clown i--"

Bonnie:"Circus Baby. Her name is Circus Baby."

Funtime Foxy:"...How do you know that, Honey?"

Bonnie:"While Springtrap was being carried by me, he checked in on her to see if she was ok. Long story short, She was not."

William:"I may not be a mechanic, but I could tell that she was going to be unconscious for a couple more hours."

Funtime Foxy:"Anyways, what's next, Circus Baby's revealed to be Springtrap's Kid?"

Meanwhile, Elizabeth was finally beginning to recover from the guitar bash, though she still felt a massive sting of pain originating from the back of her head.

Elizabeth:"Aahh, my head. did I have too much ice cream last night?"

William:"No. You got struck by the back of the head by a bunny guitarist on accident. and that was not last night, that was around 4 or 5 hours ago."

Elizabeth:"Oh. Good to know. How was your nap, Dad?"

William:"It could've been better, but it also could've been worse, I suppose, so--"

Funtime Foxy:"Ok, I was kidding about her being his daughter. How does that even work?"

William:"I believe that it is better you don't know."

Funtime Foxy:"Noted. So we're going to be looking around for SpringBonnie, or if there's anything left of her."

Bonnie:"Ah, come on. You seriously expect her to go down that easily to Chop'n'Rolls?

Funtime Foxy:"Not them. you know how she is, Bon. Always charging into battles, never thinking ahead. Granted, it's helped her out a lot, but still."

As the sentence was finished, Foxy couldn't help but notice a familiar colour off in the distance, walking distance from the stump.

Funtime Foxy:"Ok, am I going crazy or is there a weird colour over there?"

As Foxy pointed over to her left with her hook, Everyone else looked over in that direction and confirmed that the colour wasn't some trick of the light, with Bonnie confirming a pair of bunny ears, leaving little imagination as to who that is, but that left two worrying questions in Foxy's processer:

1:Was SpringBonnie her normal self or was she glitched?

2: Could Springtrap and Circus Baby hold their own in a fight, or are they destined for the scrapyard?

Foxy didn't want to find out how good or bad the 2 new visitors were at combat, but with the possibility that SpringBonnie was glitched, she felt that there really was no choice.

Funtime Foxy:"Okay, before we go over there, I need to ask, Springtrap, Circus Baby, are you two good at fighting?"

Elizabeth:"Eh, I would say so, so long as there's some preparation time. How about you, Dad?"

William:"I would say that I could hold my own with the right tools. why do you ask, though?"

Funtime Foxy:"I needed to know in case SpringBonnie's glitched. I don't wanna run the risk of having you two not be good at fighting whilst we're dealing with Glitched enemies."

William:"Well, I say that is a very rational move to make. Now let us hope that she is not glitched."

Funtime Foxy:"Here's to hoping. Come on, let's go."

The team set off for the Golden Rabbit, which was approximately 1 mile away, praying along the way that she would not be glitched.

Funtime Foxy:"So, with Glitched Animatronics, you don't want their attention without planning ahead first. We don't want to risk any casualties in this fight."

William:"I see. And I am assuming that if we beat the glitch out of them, they will return to normal, but will still sustain their injuries?"

Funtime Foxy:"Yeah, that's right. So, just try not to greatly injure them."

Elizabeth:"So, mainly just defensive moves? Considering the claw for a hand I have, I think I'll be fine, but I am still worried about your safety."

Funtime Foxy:"Don't worry about that. Me and Bon have been here for a bit, so we know how to defend ourselves. But that doesn't mean you can use your guitar as a melee weapon, hon."

Bonnie:"Ah, come on! How did you even know I was gonna say that?"

Funtime Foxy:"Mainly because you say it so many times."

Returning their focus on SpringBonnie, the 4 teammates surrounded her in the off chance that she was glitched and decided that Foxy would be the individual to talk to her.

But upon looking at SpringBonnie's expression, stance and hearing the noises emitting from her voice box, she could tell that words would not work. SpringBonnie was glitched and there was no avoiding a battle for Foxy's squad.

Funtime Foxy:"Oh, no. Bonnie, take the guitar!"

Bonnie:"But you specifically said that I couldn't use it for combat!"

Funtime Foxy:"Do you really want to see what's changed my mind, Bon?!"

William:"I am judging by the tone, the volume and the fear that SpringBonnie is not herself at the moment?"

Funtime Foxy:"Not even a little bit! She's probably planning some kind of counterattack in order to escape this formation. Don't let that happen!"

William:"If I have the attention of the enemy, I do not believe that they would attempt to escape without attempting to ensure my end."

Funtime Foxy:"Well, regardless, we're gonna have to find a way around this before--"

Before Foxy could finish her sentence, however, SpringBonnie animalistically ran directly for Springtrap, with no intent to talk, only fight.

but before she could leap directly onto Afton, Elizabeth charged into SpringBonnie claw first, knocking her away as well as dazing her, the golden rabbit being thrown like a ragdoll.

The daze did not last forever though, and as soon as SpringBonnie recovered from it, she set her sights from William to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth:"You wanna piece of me?! You wanna piece?! Well, come on!! I'm right here!!"

SpringBonnie prepared for a swift leap onto Elizabeth, but Bonnie viscously swiped his guitar into her face like a hammer, causing a big bruise to appear on her face to as well as greatly dazing the rabid rabbit to the point of almost falling over once she recovered.

William realized that the strikes from Bonnie and Elizabeth had greatly weakened SpringBonnie's resolve to resume combat, but the animalistic behaviour did not easily give that away.

As a result, a new plan formed in Afton's mind:

Try to beat the virus out and not majorly injure SpringBonnie before she could kill them.

William:"Foxy, I have a plan!"

Funtime Foxy:"Well, let's hear it! We don't have time to monologue!"

William:"Try and outlast the glitch! Use your weakest attacks and try to stall her! I'm looking at her and She's clearly getting tired from all the attacks!"

Funtime Foxy:"Good thinking, Springtrap."

After detailing the plan to the others(whilst they weren't getting jumped by SpringBonnie), William charged into SpringBonnie whilst She was recovering, punching her once he cleared the distance, gently injuring her but quickly being combined with Bonnie's guitar strike with a debilitating strike.

It was becoming very obvious that the virus wouldn't last any longer, with the eyes constantly flashing from pure emptiness with white pupils to green animatronic eyes.

Once SpringBonnie clumsily rose from the ground in an attempt to make a last stand, Elizabeth quickly threw a punch into her face to knock her down, the mechanical arm throwing the virus out of SpringBonnie, but also knocking her out in the process.

Bonnie:"Baby! You knocked her out!"

Elizabeth:"Relax! She'll wake up eventually. We just need to find a place for her to wake up in."

Bonnie:"Fine. We're probably not that far from the village. We'll get her back to her house, then we'll wait for her to wake up."

{2 Hours Later...}

After 2 Hours of carrying SpringBonnie to their destination and encountering many an inconvenience, the 4 teammates had finally arrived at Villagetronica.

Funtime Foxy:"Finally, we're here! And about time, too! I would've lost my mind if I had to run from one more Bouncepot!"

William:"So I take it that having to deal with Bouncepots, Gearrats and Chop-n-Rolls is a prominent part of a usual day in Villagetronica?"

Bonnie:"Oh, you don't know the half of it, Springtrap."

William:"I am willing to take a bet as to how bad the situation is."

Bonnie:"Alright then. How much?"

William:"I would say about 20 tokens."

Funtime Foxy:"Save the bets for later, boys. We've gotta get SpringBonnie into her house."

William:"Very well. Where is the place?"

Bonnie:"We're actually right in front of it."

In front of the group was a small flat, with two medium-sized plants by the front, taking the form of red-coloured flowers with a black interior. Underneath the glass of the window, there laid small flowers accompanied by a patch of grass.

William:"Ah, I see. The place looks very quaint."

Foxy:"Let's just get SpringBonnie in here before someone misinterprets what we're doing."

{30 minutes later...}

Once SpringBonnie was put into her bed, the others decided to wait outside for her to wake up.

Bonnie:"I can't wait for you to properly talk to Spring-Bon. She's gonna be a great conversationalist, once she gets used to you and Baby."

Elizabeth:"Honestly, I wanna just get to know her better as an individual. Y'know, talk about what we're interested in, gossip during the night, all that fun stuff."

Foxy:"I don't know if that would be allowed for the first half of your visit. You're gonna need to talk to Fred-bear about that."

William:"Fred-bear, huh? Well then, let us locate him immediately."

####-####:"No need, my friend. I already heard the commotion."

After hearing a mechanical voice that asserted a complete lack of arrogance and only audibly shock-waved every remaining human instinct within both William AND Elizabeth, the two immediately recoiled back, Elizabeth falling to the ground, with an ear-injuring shriek, whilst William lightly yelled in response to the "mysterious" newcomer, all the while slightly stumbling, albeit not falling onto the gentle grass.

Foxy:"Y'know, I still really don't know how you do that, Fred-Bear, and I don't think I want to know."

Fred-Bear:"I greatly apologize for the fright, but I hold urgent news."

Bonnie:"Aw, great. How urgent are we talkin'?"

Fred-Bear:"Allow me to lead the way towards the subject of said news, and I shall show you."

And with very little (external) disagreement from the suggestion, the four teammates followed Fred-Bear into a weirdly specific part of the surprisingly peaceful part of the hills. (Along the way, there was a suspicious rock formation within the valley of trees that only Elizabeth noticed.) As Fred-Bear lead them to an oddly specific tree, he then stopped beside it.
