5 5. The Mission and Getting Inside

Soon I made it back to my apartment and went inside before going to my room and falling on my bed to try and fall asleep but my phone started ringing so I got up and walked over to it before answering.

"Hello? Who is this?" I asked before a old rough voice spoke on the other side

"Hello Night, it's your uncle. I called to see how business is going and if you need any pointers." My Uncle Henry said to me over the phone.

"The business is surviving but we both know you didn't just take the time to call your only nephew. You're a very busy man so what do you want Uncle?" I asked in a serious voice.

"Ahh I see nothing can get passed you still. But I came to tell you that you have a salvage job today. You'll need to go to an old abandoned restaurant, the location is the first reboot of the original Freddy Fazbear's pizza. You should know the place since I took you there a few times when you were 6 but anyways, you'll have to go in AKA break in and take one of the old animatronics. I recommend not taking that puppet if you find it along with avoiding it and staying on your toes as they may still be active. So after you find your pick of the litter you can scrap or salvage them once you pick it but I would suggest salvaging them as it's cheaper than buying the new animatronics." Uncle Henry explained which made me sigh.

"Fine I'll go but don't expect me to not pick one and leave as fast as I can." I said before hanging up and changing my clothes to a white shirt and black hoodie with dark blue jeans. 'I guess I should get going. I can hit a diner or some fast food place on the way and get food as I drive to the location'

Soon I left my apartment and went to my car before cleaning the back seat to put the animatronic at since my trunk wouldn't have the room to fit them.

-1 PM-

I arrived at the shut down "Freddy and Friends' Pizzeria" as the sign said with graffiti covering some of it but it was still readable. The pizzera had boards covering every window while the entrance way which was a glass door had bars infront of it with a wooden board behind the glass door.

"You're making me regret coming here old man.." I said to myself before getting out of my car and walking to the left side of the building till I reached a dumpster and an escape ladder which was broke so no one could climb from the top.

Even though it seemed like a useless way in, I took my hoodie off before tying it to my waist then I climbed onto the dumpster by the broken ladder before jumping towards the ladder and grabbing the handle while cutting my arm against the sharp metal in the process. "Motherfucker!" I kept my voice to a low volume while grinding my teeth together to keep myself from yelling more curses as i climbed the ladder.

Once I reached the top of the ladder and stepped onto the roof, I took my shirt off and tore a piece of it before using the peice I ripped off to cover my wound by wrapping it around the cut. It wasn't too deep but I still had to stop the bleeding to hide most of the evidence of me being here. Then I took my hoodie off my waist and put it on before pulling the hood over my head then I started to walk to the hatch which would lead inside the pizzeria through a staff only area. It was put here as a secondary escape incase the entrance and kitchen exit were blocked off somehow and people needed to escape because of some incident.

Once I made it to the hatch I opened it and was surprised to find it unlocked and not blocked up. 'Guess they thought removing the way up would waste less resources and actually keep people out.'

I slowly descended the ladder closing the hatch and finding myself inside was seemed to be the storage area that I could make out since it was dark and there were multiple unopened and unmarked boxes. "What happened that made them shut this place down and leave a bunc-" I was whispering to myself before shutting up as I heard heavy footsteps approaching the door so I hid behind boxes then the door opened before shutting once again followed by the footsteps moving away which meant they probably left.
