Chapter Three

They drove for a while. A few hours into the drive, Puppet suddenly pulled over. Toy Chica could hear police sirens. "Act powered down!" Puppet hissed, then used his power to put a hologram of a human body on himself, the overcoat covering the appropriate part of his body. He rolled down his window. Toy Chica could only hear, she dared not move. She heard an officer speak, but she could not understand him. "I am transferring these animatronics," Puppet said. The officer walked around and opened the door, seemingly inspecting them. She heard a clang, he must have poked one of them.

"All seems to be in order," he said. "But you were driving over the speed limit.

"I apologize," Puppet said. "I am on a tight deadline and I'll get fired if I am late."

"Alright," the officer said. "You get a freebie. But just this once, you'd better drive within the limit next time."

"Yes, officer," Puppet replied. "I'll be more careful. Thank you."

"No prob." The officer walked away, got in his car, and drove away.

"The coast is clear," Puppet said, his hologram melting, except for the face. Toy Chica opened her eyes as Puppet began driving again, slower this time. Bonnie shifted, and Toy Chica looked at him hopefully, but he did not wake. She sighed.

"He will not wake?" Mangle asked from beside her. Foxy was asleep on her shoulder.

"No," she said. "I'm worried about him."

"He'll be alright. He's strong."

"I guess you did survive much worse," Toy Chica said, snuggling into Bonnie. It was cold in the van. (Yes, animatronics can feel temperature in this book. Just like they can blush. Don't be mad at me for it they need to have human mechanics to make this work).

"Just don't worry too much," Mangle said, yawning. She rested her head on Foxy's. "Goodnight…."

"Goodnight," Toy Chica said, resting her head on Bonnie. She closed her eyes, soon falling asleep. (Yes they can sleep too. Please don't get mad at me!)

.........….

They woke when the van jolted to a stop. "What's going on?" Toy Chica asked, yawning. "Why'd we stop?"

"I dunno…" Mangle muttered, stretching. Foxy woke as he slid off her shoulder.

"I think I found the right place," Puppet said, peeking out the car door. "A new pizzeria."

"A new pizzeria?" Toy Freddy asked, reaching to open the doors.

"Wait!" Puppet said. "Let me go first." He got out of the car and left for a bit before coming back. "Alright, let's go." Toy Freddy opened the doors and jumped off, Toy Bonnie following. Freddy and Chica went next, then Foxy and Mangle. Toy Chica stood, pulling Bonnie to his feet. She pulled his arm around her shoulders and he leaned heavily on her, still half unconscious.

"Come on, Bonnie," she whispered. "I need you." He didn't move. Puppet took Bonnie's other side, helping her carry him. They slowly made their way over to a side door, where the others were waiting. Toy Bonnie knocked on the door. With a creak, the door slowly opened, revealing two animatronics. One was a white cat wearing a pink dress. A pink bow was clipped in front of one of her ears and her tail waved, surprised. The other was a pale yellow bunny in a light blue dress.

"Oh, bolts!" The cat exclaimed, seeing Bonnie. "Oh goodness! Come inside, quickly!" She opened the door wider, standing aside as Toy Chica and Puppet carried Bonnie inside. The others followed. "Lay him on one of the tables," the cat said, pointing to the closest table. "Cotton, go get the tool box."

"We- we don't have his parts…" Toy Chica whispered, laying Bonnie on the table. "We won't be able to fix him," she realized.

"Um," Puppet said. "We do have his parts." He raised one of his hands and parts appeared. Parts for Bonnie.

"Oh my goodness." The bunny said, coming back. "Where'd those come from?"

"I'll explain later," Puppet said, leaving the parts on the table. "For now, is there a place where the rest of us can stay?"

"Yes," the cat said. "Cotton, take them to one of the party rooms. They should be big enough." Cotton, the bunny, began leading them down a hallway.

"Come on, Toy Chica," Puppet said.

"No!" She said. "I wanna stay with him."

"You need rest," he said, taking her by the arm. "Let's go." He led her away, Toy Chica barely resisting. They entered the "party" room and Puppet released Toy Chica's arm. She sat down in a chair, defeated. The others let her be, settling down on the floor or in a chair. Toy Chica rested her head in her arms, yawning. She could only see the bright colors of the table cloth before she fell asleep.
