8 Chapter 7

The next day, as expected, the night guard did not go to work.

He called and said he wasn't going to go because he had a little accident and that he was going to recover soon. He also regretted not being able to go to work tonight and made it clear that if necessary, they deduct it from his pay, he did not care. The manager was good, he understood and accepted this small request from the blonde, wishing him a speedy recovery, and if he needs anything, just call, he will attend him with a big smile.

But it is something that the animatronics are not capable of knowing, of course.

.

.

Stage, midnight

.

.

There would be no guard today.

Francis, who held the position of day guard, was not going to come either due to family problems, so the manager managed it somehow. It wasn't his idea to leave this place without a night guard, but it's not like anything is going to happen. No one will enter to do any damage. He was sure that everything was going to stay calm and safe.

At the time of midnight itself, they began to move.

In fact, they have always been able to move at all times, only during the day it is very dangerous to do so and, at night, well, out of habit they simply woke up somehow at midnight and from there, they began to play a little, enjoy the freedom to be able to do many things that they could not do when they were still.

"He didn't come," were Chica's words. "The guard hasn't come tonight, and he hasn't come during the day either…" She lowered her head. She sat down in her place as she left the guitar aside. "He won't come again... we screwed it up."

"He's a human, maybe he has things to think about and process," Bonnie said this while thinking. The point is that she wanted him to come because her assumption was correct. She recognizes it perfectly. He will come… that and for the bet. "Maybe tomorrow he will be here."

"You said he would come today," Fredica confronted her. He did not come, so you will not be able to do anything with him then until further notice."

"Hey, hey, why should I listen to that? She pointed at her annoyed. "I made a bet, and it hasn't ended, you know? We did not set a time limit."

"You said he would come today. He didn't come, done. Your bet went wrong."

"Hehe, honey, I'm never wrong." She smiled. Her arrogant smile was something that could never be removed. "I promise you that today, he will come during the day and will come to see us from afar." She pulled out a carrot. She began to eat it slowly and juicily. "And when he comes... I'm going to do this to him."

Chica and Fredica glanced at each other when they noticed that Bonnie was fellating a carrot like it was nothing.

"Do you think he will pay attention to a rabbit like you?"

"I know very well what a man wants," she blurted out. "I am what every man wants. I have nothing more to say."

"...what do you offer?" Chica was asking now. "We all have butts, we all have breasts, we all have beautiful bodies... what sets you apart from the others?"

"What man can't resist a pretty bunny?" She says this because once, she had seen that a guard had a magazine, and she saw that said magazine was of an adult man around many women dressed as rabbits. If that's not an indication that any man doesn't want a bunny girl, then she has no idea what is. "I am sure that when he has to choose, he will choose the right one."

Bonnie was very sure of herself. The body she has is enough to convince anyone, plus this guard. She also knows that he will not be able to resist her, and from what she has seen of him in just 10 minutes, she recognizes that he is the perfect man.

These are small thoughts that these animatronics have, more than anything, Bonnie.

In general, the issue of the guard is somewhat controversial because sometimes they can't decide what to do, whether to just go bother him, play with him, pretend they don't do anything, and then surprise him at the last minute or maybe start doing what they want, once they did it was to harm him because they had to repay the damage they have done to them. Yes, some guards simply had other desires... but also, they wanted to hurt them and they defended themselves.

What would those guards who were hurting them would say? Complain? No one would believe them!

That has led to almost no one taking this job either, and when someone takes the night shift on duty, they couldn't take it much longer than necessary and began to act more and more aggressive.

They have been alone for a while. The previous guard was a blessing to them... but they also ended up ruining everything. They are all to blame actually. Fredica sometimes believes that she is to blame for everything and no one else. But the reality is that they all had their grain of fault. Now, after so much, having a new guard and that they have shown to be good and patient... they thought he was the one... after saying that more than 10 guards were the ones.

But everything went wrong, once again.

"What will we do if he comes back?" Chica then asked. "Should we be good or...?"

"We'll be the same as always," Fredica spoke up. "We no longer have reason to be indifferent to what we have been. The guard will understand."

"What?" It's just that even Bonnie took the trouble to say that with hesitation. "How the usual? Are you talking about... doing the same thing as the other guards who wanted to touch us?"

"No," she turned to see her making some disgusting faces. "I mean, we must be something like us..." She paused briefly to think a little better. "He already knows that we can all move, and we can all do what we want during the night. I guess he wants to talk..."

"Do you suppose?"

"Yes, because I don't know the guard. I have no idea what kind of person he is."

She couldn't read him either when she had him in front of her. The installed system that looked inside them for face recognition didn't return any data either. It was as if he was a person born from nothing. But coming out of her systems, she couldn't read him. The fact that he only asked her from the previous guard made her even more confused. Was it someone he knew? Curious now, she would have to ask him.

He was not your typical security guard, not at all. He had an air of the previous one but this same one by itself, left the office, he did his job, it is that he even showed doubts when Chica stained herself to be able to feel her hands. He didn't want to touch her out of embarrassment.

She can't deny that she misses him a little now.

If only she had done something when they were alone...

"And... what are we going to do with Foxy?"

That was a good question...

.

.

Pirate's Cove, 01:00 am

.

.

The three of them came to see Foxy.

Since Fredica did what she did to her, she acted normal during the day but right now, there's no telling how she's going to behave.

"Did you really make any changes to her?"

"I just made her less aggressive."

That was the only thing she did... well, actually she has no idea. She just pulled a wire and that was it, reconnected it to another input. She was hoping she would be a little less aggressive. The idea is that she can talk more with her. She was never one for words. She stays aloof from the rest. They tolerate each other but nothing more.

There was no one on stage. The three got on it and walked further from there to go to the back of the place where Foxy is always.

Entering a little and arriving at what one can consider a kind of pirate's cabin, of a captain more than anything, she was like nothing, reclining in a hammock and not in her huge bed.

It should be noted that of the four animatronics here, the only one who had a place to meet those human needs to sleep and enjoy the environment was Foxy alone because the rest had nothing except a shared stage and, that's it, a backstage.

"Foxy."

"What do you want?" Her tone wasn't friendly at all. "I don't remember giving them permission to come in here." She rocked. She really seemed to enjoy this. From there, she looked at the three of them. "Especially the one in yellow." She pointed with her hook. Chica then got behind Fredica and Bonnie. The bear looked at her and then back at Foxy. "I don't want her to be here or you. Outside, I want to pretend that I am resting."

"It's because of the guard."

"The guard is mine, I already told you. I won't discuss the subject anymore... that's enough I'm already talking too much with you..."

"He's not the same guard as before, it's another."

"Oh sure, how could I not have noticed that?" She was banging her head in shock at this discovery. She was sarcastic, of course. Her serious face returned. "I could see very badly, and I have one eye, but I realize that he is not the same. This one is yellow like that damn chicken... I already knew I wasn't going to like him..." Chica now felt a little bad. "That is why he has to disappear."

"Killing one guard will not bring the other."

"Shut your fucking bunny mouth, Bonnie."

"What?!"

"I don't want to hear what a liar like you says." She was waving her away right now. "Go away, come on, I don't want to see you."

"The previous guard will never come back." Foxy showed a hostile attitude. She got up from her hammock and walked towards where she was. He stood in front of her. They were face to face while Chica was very scared of what might happen. Bonnie was neutral, but also, she was a little scared. She was the only one, Fredica, who wasn't afraid of Foxy. "No matter how hard you try, he won't come back..."

"You do not know that!" She put her hook in her face. "You don't know ANYTHING about him. He'll come back, I know... I know he'll come back... he wouldn't leave us..."

"He abandoned us." Fredica didn't care if Foxy threatened her with her hook. She won't be able to do anything as long as she has help... and that help is her golden self who, to tell the truth, doesn't want to have to resort to it, but in case things go very wrong, it's her trump card. "I heard… one of the talks from the new guard and the day shifter." Bonnie and Chica both know what she means. The two have also heard some of this while playing music. Foxy was the only one who didn't know anything, it was just her. "He... is locked up in a place where people like him are... because of us... YOUR fault."

"...that's a lie."

"Do I look like I'm lying?"

"You're just as lying as the bunny bitch is," she complained, but when she looked at her, she chose to remain silent. "He will never leave us. You only say this to annoy me. You're still a bitch, Fredica."

"I'll be a whore, bitch and all, but insulting me isn't going to bring back the previous guard." She didn't flinch at all in front of Foxy. "He's locked up because we've made him go crazy. We have caused that... and that includes you."

"You're lying... tell me it's a lie." She fervently denied that idea. She didn't want to accept this either. Her? Guilty that the guard leaves? No, it's not like that. "I have not done anything."

"The second night he was here, you kept showing up at his door and kicking it in with all your might. You even threatened him with death. Remember, they're human, they're scared..." technically so are they. Chica was a good example. She didn't stop trembling from what she felt. Her hands were on her back. The idea of having Foxy around apparently wasn't very good for Chica. "He was scared, and you kept trying to get into his office... think."

And she slowly thought and realized this. "No... I didn't do anything wrong..."

"Of course you have. You have made the previous guard not come anymore. It was your fault, it always was and always has been." Foxy didn't want to hear this. She did not want to. She was pushed by a finger that was resting on her chest, a finger from Fredica. The hard blow of reality was affecting her too much, and little by little, signs of failure were showing. "Because of you, now, we lost the chance to have a new guard... again, you have done it, you have made another guard leave... you are to blame for everything..."

Foxy backed up further and further. She fell sitting up in her bed, at least.

Her eye was wide open. The small shock of this information and that she is to blame for everything was a lot for her. Now it was beginning to fail, quite a lot. A few sparks flew from her as she, too, was grabbing her head with both her hand and her hook, having Fredica's words etched deep within her that it's her fault in all of this.

Chica and Bonnie watched as Foxy was having a huge existential crisis and it looked like she was going to explode. The good thing is that they don't actually explode, the bad thing is that they also don't know how the hell they were remade to look almost human in certain ways.

Fredica was looking soullessly at Foxy, who seemed to be in a very conflicted state. She has to face the reality of things and understand very well that she was guilty of many things, more than the previous guard. Yes, once again she insists that she could have stopped her but she didn't.

She turned to Chica and Bonnie, both silent looking at Foxy.

"Let's get back on stage and blackout until dawn," she said.

"What about Foxy?"

After Chica's question, Fredica turned to see her. She was still the same way. She would be that way for a long time. It's not important to her, at least not now. How she acts after this, yes, it's her problem.

"She'll understand and change a little," she blurted out. "Come on, let's go."

Without further ado, Chica and Bonnie followed behind Fredica as they couldn't help but see once again an existentially troubled Foxy.

Freddy Fazbear's, 2:30 pm

.

.

"He hasn't come?"

"Apparently not. He always ends up coming at this time, boss. He comes, eats and drinks something, and helps me with some things. But... no, he hasn't come today."

"It's quite strange..."

"Haven't you talked to him?"

"Yes, but the only thing he told me is that he will not come because of a problem he has suffered. He didn't tell me in detail what happened to him, but he said he couldn't come…" He, the manager, blew out a long breath as he stood next to Francis. "He seems and is a nice person but… if something really happened to him, I have no idea what to do with his night job." He looked at him. "Can't you take that turn?"

"You know, boss, I can't." It could be an excuse, but he doesn't take it because at night he has other things to do, precisely being with his family. "Sorry."

"Yeah, don't worry." He was worried. If he didn't come, he was sure he would have to look for a replacement. Those who worked during the weekend would not accept to work during the week, and as such, he will have to put up an ad, again. "I hope he comes..."

Between the fact that they seemed to be arguing about the night guard, the animatronics continued with their routine of playing for children as well as, on Foxy's part, telling and telling more stories and warning that they should not do any of that and from there, she would scare them and taunt them with her typical pirate laugh. But beyond that, those on the main stage were analyzing everything as their eyes moved to see all the children due to their movements. The guard who always comes to see how everything is going was not there.

This proved that in the end, Bonnie was wrong and that the guard, will not come anymore.

It was obvious.

No one would think of staying after experiencing such things.

They continued as if nothing playing for the children but if they could show themselves as such, they would show a sad face, more on the Chica side because Fredica would be looking badly at a Bonnie who does not know what to do except smile nervously for being wrong, smiling from the embarrassment of her being wrong, something that rarely happened.

The real question is, where is the night guard?

.

.

Freddy Fazbear's, 6:36 p.m.

.

.

The hours passed, but the fun did not.

The children in the establishment either came to play or to eat and drink something or to listen to the animatronics... or all at once. This place seriously has it all.

Francis was still watching everything, and something that gave him doubt is what he had found in one of the bathrooms the other day that the night guard did not come to eat his typical slices of pizza and his huge soda. In that bathroom, it so happened that he had found a very strange liquid and that, a little motivated by detective movies, he wanted to try it... although in the same movies he saw with his wife, they don't do this but he wanted to try, he felt a very strange taste, almost resembling a woman's liquid.

At the time, he was surprised. "So that's why you didn't want to come to work... he brought a woman here." He nodded because it was the only possible answer. Maybe he was ashamed to show his face... but how did a woman get in? "Bring a woman to work and make love to her so that she cums in the bathroom..."

He didn't say any of this to the boss.

This is something he will keep to himself and then tell the blond.

He doesn't want to get him in trouble. He just wants to know how the hell he got a woman inside and even more to take her to the bathroom to make love to her so much that she left the entire floor wet... and part of the mirror... and the walls along the way. That woman was strong, it seemed. He had to ask the cleaner to please clean everything, which he was also surprised at this and made the same deduction as him.

That guard, that blond man, was a complete nut.

Therefore, he understands that he does not come to work.

After looking around, which was to walk around the whole place, and finding nothing wrong, except for some children who may have wanted to be clever with the installations and, with the animatronics, he returned to his office to watch the cameras and see if they had kids wreaking havoc.

Going back to his security office was nothing to him. The issue has been when he has returned to the said office and he found the blond with his arms crossed, looking at the screens with the cameras with great curiosity, apart from having his eyes nailed against them that hardly seemed to blink.

He opened his eyes when he saw him.

"Man, it's you," he snapped. The blond looked at him with a surprised expression but went back to being as if nothing had happened. "I thought you weren't coming." The first thing he did was pat him on the shoulder. As soon as he did this, the blond couldn't anticipate it and was shocked by the hand on his shoulder, retreating a few steps while wincing in pain. Francis didn't let this go. "...hey, are you okay?" He asked. "I'm strong and stuff, but it was just a friendly pat."

"I got hurt," he sighed and calmed down. It was fine now. He was rubbing his shoulder a little over his somewhat casual outfit. "That's why I didn't come last night. I had to go to the hospital."

"Was it that serious?" The blond said that he was cut by something, not being deep but being painful at the same time. He didn't go into too many details. "Why did you come? No, wait, why didn't you tell the boss that?"

"I don't want to stop working," the blond replied. "I need the money."

"But they pay you, in case you get hurt... although that would be if it was within an area corresponding to the area of your work... and, surely, you've been hurt outside your home and... yes, you're right, it would not be good."

"Precisely, I didn't say anything, and I already clarified that if they have to deduct my pay, I have no problem with it." He agreed. He was lying about what he thought about this job. If he had said he was injured at home, he would not change anything. If he said he got hurt at work, an interrogation would start, and things wouldn't end well. "But here I am, wanting to do my job."

"Great," he was saying. "Will you be waiting in the office?"

"I am hungry."

"Oh sure. I don't know if there's anything left for you though. The cleaning staff may have finished..." He was gone quickly. "...your portions..."

He didn't want to bother with the blond. He really is doing an excellent job, he has no reason to bother either. He hoped he would do his job again and wished him well.

.

.

Main dining room, 6:49 p.m.

.

.

A brown leather jacket, a white t-shirt underneath as well as dark blue jeans and black boots, it was the outfit of our beloved nightguard, the most casual outfit he could possibly have.

He only had one slice of pizza left. It wasn't much, but it was enough for him to eat something because he was hungry. Besides, he didn't want to do much, that's why he came, to be able to eat something and also drink a good cold soda that was much better than the pizza itself.

He walked all around the establishment, and before going to the main dining room where all the children were enjoying the show, he went directly to the pirate's cove.

Why would he go there?

He has no idea either, but something made him want to go.

"Hey," the blond didn't speak to anyone other than the writer of this. "Listen, I know very well that this job is not normal and all that, but why do I have to go to where Foxy is?" The blonde couldn't help but want to enter Foxy's lair. Something was drawing him there. "Wait, hey, seriously, I don't want to go in there. That bitch is going to kill me." He didn't want to go in, but something in his body told him that he should go because maybe he'll discover something important. "Come on man, seriously, I don't want to..." Decided then, he was going to go inside. There were no children present at this time. That was weird. But considering that he can go in and do whatever he wants, he wouldn't mind throwing the kids out so he could check if Foxy was working or not. In any case, he entered with enormous courage even though not long ago, just over a day ago, she wanted to kill him. "I hate you..."

The guard then entered Foxy's cabin.

He looked everywhere. There was nothing. Well, there was something. She was lying on the huge bed that was against one wall and in the middle too. She was totally curled up, like a good fox, trembling a little too. He raised an eyebrow.

What did Fredica do to her to make her this way?

He was a few steps away. From where he was he could see Foxy clearly, why would he get closer? Not worth it. He could only see that she was like a fox lying on the bed, curled up and nothing more. That's it. There was no more left.

He turned and was going to leave

"Stop."

Or so he was believing.

He stood still. He could feel Foxy's footsteps heading towards him. Sure, it stopped. He turned around. She was not far away. It was a few steps away. He had her in front of him.

In a way, it's the first time he's seen an animatronic functioning this way, with a lot of free will, during the day.

"Why did you come?" As always, her tone wasn't very friendly. "Do you still want to suffer like before?"

"I just wanted to make sure you're okay," he replied. He already had the mental capacity to be able to talk casually with her. On that day, he didn't go to work, apart from treating his wound that still hurts a bit, he exercised his mind for any kind of possible scenario involving communication. "Nothing more than that."

"You're a strange boy, guard," Foxy said suddenly after hearing what he said. "You are worried about someone who tried to take your life. What are you? A psychopath?"

"My job is to make sure you and the rest are okay, nothing more, nothing less," he made that clear. "Don't take this the wrong way, Foxy."

"Don't use your filthy mouth to mention my name, guard."

"Begin to get used to it, Foxy." He seriously noticed how the fox was getting angry. He didn't want to make her mad, but he liked her for some reason. Besides, she seemed quite calm to have him in front of her. He thought she was going to kill him, but it looks like Fredica did a good thing. "I will have to deal with you."

"Soon, you'll end up like the rest of the guards, human."

"As the previous guard..."

Foxy didn't grab him by the neck this time. She grabbed him by his clothes and carried him against the wall. She lifted him a bit. Of course, she lowered him and then put her hand on the shoulder she had hurt. There she noticed his expression of pain.

"You better not talk about the previous guard, do you hear me?" She was getting closer and closer against the guard, who was still grimacing in pain. "That guard your filthy mouth mentioned was the best there ever was..."

"He's... he's... in a madhouse... because of you..." he spoke as best he could due to the pressure exerted by her hand on his shoulder.

"You too?" For him to say this to her too, same as Fredica, she was fed up. She put her hook in the guard's face. "Don't come to me with those..."

"I saw it..." He could see how Foxy began to doubt what he said. What's more, she was trembling a little. Maybe she didn't expect him to say this at all. He least expected to say something like that but to get rid of her, whatever.

"You lie," Foxy replied. "I know you're lying to get rid of me, I can see it in your face." Although she hesitated, she wasn't going to believe it. This man touched something very delicate for her. As such, she ran her hook across his face. "I hope you're prepared to suffer the consequences...little man..."

"I'm not... lying..." he tried to say.

"Really? Hehe... you're an idiot like everyone else, you don't know that I have facial recognition that makes me see if someone is lying or not..."

"N-no...just...you don't want to...believe...it." Like someone brave, which he isn't, he put his hand over hers that was on his shoulder. Foxy was still quiet, having her hook to his face. "But... he... ended up... crazy... because of you..."

"... stop lying..."

"I'm not lying..."

"Stop..."

Her grip weakened. She slowly removed that hand from his shoulder. She even took a few steps back. She was conflicted, again. "Foxy..."

"No... no, it's a lie... tell me you're lying." Once again she was mentally under stress over the previous guard. She's not guilty, she's not. She didn't do anything wrong. She just wanted to play and express herself in the best possible way... did she really do something wrong? "I... I..."

"..."

The way Foxy was behaving right now... were not typical of an animatronic, more one that was made for adults... he insists that Foxy's body is not something for children... but in the end, were made for children, he can not say much. The thing is that right now, he really wanted to hug her. He wants to hug her and make her feel good.

"Hey, Foxy, listen," he said, extending an arm as he wanted to get closer to her. "Look..."

"Stay away!" He could see that she was even crying. From those 'tears' coming out of her, she was malfunctioning again. "I could kill you!"

The night guard was brave as well as an idiot.

He couldn't help but feel that rare need to hug her. He has no reason to. That fox almost killed him just for something trivial, like being mistaken for another guard. Besides, this can go very wrong. Too bad. But he just walked up to her.

Foxy did not seem to be well, she seemed to be suffering a lot with all this.

He did not do this with very few words. What has Fredica done for her to get this way? Did she really change much about her? No, it doesn't make any sense. He couldn't know what she did either, but she's supposed to be a little more docile now, less aggressive. If she was the one he saw at the time, he was sure she would kill him, but right now, she was... crying? Confronting her with the idea that she was guilty of getting the other guard locked up in an insane asylum.

He ended up hugging her.

Foxy froze.

What was this?

What the hell is this guard doing?

Why the hell did he catch her? What was he going to do to her?

Why... does she feel weird about what he's doing?

What is it?

What is this that makes her feel protected?

Why does she feel happy...?

She has no idea what it is. She just ended up reciprocating whatever this is. She did the same, wrapping her arms around him. She was still crying with her eye, and the flaws were more noticeable than before until little by little she began to calm down and her head too. Her eye was wide open, and in this way, little by little, she calmed down.

"... what's this?"

Foxy wanted to know.

She doesn't know what this is.

Has anyone ever done this to her? No never.

"A hug."

"Hug... a hug..."

She has no idea what it is, but she likes it... and a lot... enough to be able to go deeper and deeper and get drunk with this feeling that a little happy has made her, blushing a little, something that the guard does not have seen... and will not see until then.

The guard wanted to free himself, but Foxy wouldn't let him at all. He tried to free himself seriously and with some force, but she wouldn't allow him for anything in the world.

One problem had been resolved in his life, but another was beginning.
