42 Chapter 42
Adam managed to unfurl his wings and fly... It is driving me nuts! It seems he has a vendetta against me due to the whole Lion King deal, that's the only explanation.
"Adam, come down please." I gently call him out. He is poking the roof of the living room. Oh yeah, we finally moved to the living room.
"Guga!" My lips twitch, Adam is basically radiating a smug aura while looking at me.
"Fou!" Cath Palug jumps up and lands on Adam's head, he may be able to fly but he can't handle the weight.
Finally, Adam is forced to land into my embrace. To think he is the easy one to look after...
Tiamat has to watch Kanna 24/7 because she started eating anything she could get her hands on.
She has a magic technique called Devour, that allows her to consume whatever she can eat but that doesn't mean she should!
Sighing I put Adam in his crib and made sure he is sleeping. "Kuroka, watch him for me, I need to take Gabriel somewhere." Kuroka bows and goes back to her job.

"Merlin, where are we going?" Gabriel asks, she would rather stay with Adam but I need her as a witness.
"We are going to Italy, to a certain church to save a nun." I say with a grin.
Ahh, the power of the plot is enough to make Diodora go after Asia even though he knows Italy became a total no devil zone after the system optimizations. Then again the power of the plot also made the system malfunction for a second, long enough to allow him to enter and stay hidden.
So, here I am. Dealing with it, we landed on a rooftop overlooking the church Asia lives in.
"Merlin, isn't that a devil? What is he doing here?"
"He is going to bait that nun into healing him, which will get her excommunicated. Once that is finished he is going to trick her into joining his Peerage."
"I am killing him right now." Damn, I never heard her voice go this cold...
"Don't worry, I already took care of it. I just need you as a witness." I pat her head gently.
"If you say so." With that, we opted to watch the canon events unfurl, with my own twist added of course.
We see Diodora injuring himself in the alley before throwing himself in front of the church to draw Asia's attention.
Asia bless her soul acts without thinking but she stops just when she was about to heal him due to me. "Pray for him..." I whisper into her ear.
Gabriel looks at me weirdly but doesn't comment. Asia starts praying as Diodora's face goes white "O Lord please heal this injured person. Amen."
The expected doesn't happen, pain doesn't assault Diodora's body due to the prayer...
No doors of Heaven open up above the sky revealing 'Jesus' himself looking high as a kite. He slowly descends towards Asia and Diodora. While Asia feels warmth, Diodora's skin starts burning off.
"Your prayer has been heard... Also, I am Jesus." He waits for a second and looks towards Diodora's burning figure. "It is time to go to Heaven, my child."
Jesus takes Diodora by hand and rises back to heaven as Diodora screams in pain. "Arghhh..." "Come on, let's go to Heaven." "Arghhh..."
Asia prays once again as the doors of Heaven closed and disappeared. Gabriel's gaze is blank... "Wasn't that Uriel?" She asks.
"Well, it wasn't hard to convince him to play the part with drugs." I say, I also left a crate and a book for Asia. She's going to need it during the Kokabiel arc if Plot decides to force itself to the world again.
"So I am calling Ajuka and Serafall to have him taken back to the underworld and put on trial..." She leaves.

While Gabriel deals with Diodora case, I went back home. Kuroka finished cleaning and reading a book while watching Adam.
Tiamat is on Kanna duty. Angelica went back to England to see Julian... Vali left the house this morning saying she found something amazing but has yet to return.
Ravel is visiting her family and that only leaves Ophis whom I can't find... She normally is in the living room, but she's not here neither in her room.
My search finally led me to my room. This is the third time something like this happening, let's hope she's not in her child form.
"Shall I cheer for you?" Ophis smirks. Ahh, this is life...

"Damn kid, I was angry at you but this game is fucking worth it." Azazel pats(read as hammers) my back while loading up Crysis 2.
"Well, I had to get the other two games from another reality. So we still have time to mind control the producers if we don't like the game."
"That's the best part. Also, it is nice to be able to use my magic overclock. This game is a beast." Oh yeah, Azazel has magic overclocking...
*Barbie Girl Theme*
"Dammit! What is it now!?" I furiously open my phone while swearing vengeance on Vali for changing the ringtone.
"What is it Hyoudou?"
{"I got attacked by three fallens... *screaming* Four fallens now. Buchou would kill them but that doesn't seem smart..."}
"Fine I am on my way, I am bringing Azazel too."
"What happened?"
"One of your idiot cells attacked Red Dragon Emperor who is also the Pawn of Rias Gremory."
"Why can't I enjoy something for once." Azazel slaps the computer away in anger before leaving the mansion. Poor computer...

Isamu was awaiting us at the entrance of the abandoned church with the rest of Gremory Peerage. I can see Rias frowning at Isamu, probably because she is stopping her from killing the fallens.
The fallens on the other hand look miserable, their wings broken. The male fallen's wings are completely ripped off.
Girls don't have any visible injuries other than their wings but they're also naked and look horrified. It seems Isamu made the Dress Break already.
That spell somehow reminds supernaturals that embarrassment is a thing and it is worth losing if it is to cover yourself. I mean a real warrior would fight even when naked... Hence I am not a real warrior.
"Okay, what happened?" Azazel asks calmly making the fallens tremble.
"Ahem, I think you guys should take this indoors..." I point to the naked fallens.
"Right, wait aren't you coming in?" Azazel asks once again seeing I am not following.
"Vali was supposed to come and we were going to a date but this happened."
"I see, then wait for her here."

Vali arrived half an hour later, I relayed what happened. She was furious that someone tried killing her rival since she swore to kill her herself.
Azazel came out not much later with a grin.
"Why are you grinning?" Vali asks.
"I sold the girls to Red Dragon Emperor as reimbursement, they became her familiars. You should have seen their faces." Azazel looks over to us, he notices the hentai in Vali's hands. "What's that Vali finally giving in to your desires?"
"Azazel look at this hentai Vali found, main character looks like you." I give him the hentai.
"Oh how nice, wait why does it have ugly bastard tag on it?" Azazel looks up only to see the duo gone.
