Flowers and Petals (STOPPED)

Flowers and Petals is a vampire book that can teach a lesson in a sense, to love yourself and mostly be yourself. It's a story about three women, two of them being a vampire and one being a human. The human thinks being in love was a bunch of nonsense and was hard on herself. Life can be beautiful. Sometimes. (This book has now been stopped. It didn't go the way I actually wanted it to.)

Chapter 13 - 'Retiring'

Maria's POV

It had been a few weeks now, since I was claimed by them and our relationship didn't really change, apart from the fact that I was getting more cleaning jobs. I totally forgot that I had that job, and honestly, it was pulling me away from the ones that I loved. Sienna and Lucia.

It was crazy to think that I could just fall in love with two stunning vampires, it sounded like a fairy tale at first but then it felt completely real. They were in the real world. My world.

I was sat at my desk, doing a bit of paperwork to say that I was 'retiring' as a cleaner. It was the right thing to do, for my mind and soul. A couple of minutes later, I folded the paperwork and placed it into an large envelope, then I got up to be scared by Sienna, who was behind me all this time. "Don't creep up on me like that again, please." I told her, placing an hand on my chest. "Are you quitting your old job?" she asked me, "If you are..."

"I want to help you and Lucia with your properties." I admitted it to her, giving her the envelope. She looked at it for a couple of seconds, before she looked up to me and gave me the biggest, happiest smile. "I'll post this off now for you, flower." she told me, before I watched her speed off, then she literally came back in like seven seconds. I was truly amazed by her skills in vampirism.

"I can't wait to tell Lucia!" she said, full of excitement. She then clapped her hands together, pleased with me. "This calls for a celebration. Let's go and surprise her. Come on!" she then chimed, grabbing my hand. "Are you okay?" I asked her, just before she started to lead me out of the room. I didn't know what was going on with her, why she was acting so happy that I decided to quit my job.

Half an hour later, we arrived at a bar where Lucia was managing. She saw us walking in, and automatically went over to see what was up. She was wearing a buttoned black t-shirt with a matching pair of jeans. "Why are you guys here?" she asked us, then Sienna gestured to me. Great.

"I have just quit my job as a cleaner and now I am working with you."

Next chapter is going to be a little bit crazy. Prepare yourselves.
