Seth woke up in the middle of the night, he was fully rested. His body would recover many times faster than a normal human, it was based on a combination of Vitality and Basic Regeneration. Wanting to see his total growth over the past day, he opened the system.

His status had grown considerably, it had grown much more than he thought it would. This growth speed was unreal. Thinking back to how he had been attacked twice in the past day, he decided to buy the Ultra Protection for five years. He spent 182500 in total. While he was on the Special tab, he noticed that one of the locked options was able to be unlocked. It was called Missions. It had a relatively high price of one million points, as much as the system itself had cost.

Seth thought for a moment before buying it, one million points wasn't that much of a burden on his massive wealth. When he clicked the button, the screen flashed brightly for a few seconds before a loading screen popped up. Judging by the speed of the loading, it would take a few hours. Seth now had a lot of time on his hands.

With all the time he now had, Seth started practicing controlling the elements. He was now proficient in controlling only a few of the elements he had come across so far. He controlled the elements around his room for a while and was able to lead all of the elements in circles around his room in minutes. It seemed like his skills and talents had grown as well. Seth knew that the elements floating around his room were not the only types. Eventually, Seth wanted to be able to command all elements, not just the ones he could see right now.

As if on cue, a few new gold elements floated under Seth's door. His luck was having an effect on the world. Seth felt like he remembered these lights from somewhere, but his memory felt muddled after concentrating on moving individual elements. Seth sighed and tried moving the new elements, it proved to be much harder than he thought. The new elements floated unnaturally and resisted his control, it was like someone else was moving them around.

Seth held these gold elements hostage, with a prison of the elements in his room. The pressure he was putting on the elements caused their controller to be able to get them out of his cage. Slowly, after almost a quarter of an hour of suppression, the gold elements began to give in. Seth bent the new elements to his will and released the cage, dispersing the elements around his room. Seth stopped controlling the elements as he felt tired, the little struggle he had with the gold elements had drained him.

After resting for a while, Seth's mind cleared. He remembered where the familiar feeling with the gold elements had come from, they were lingering in his brother's body when he was attacked. He realized that they were probably light elements being controlled by the light god or something. He really was too lucky that they had only appeared after he had woken up and bought Ultra Protection, which was most likely the reason why he hadn't been completely overwhelmed by the intruder.

Seth went back to controlling the elements in his room. Soon he would be more proficient at it than his mother. Elizabeth scared Seth a lot, it seemed to him like she knew more about him than she let on. He felt like he would have to be ready to fight her if need be. A fight between people that control elements would be much more different than a fistfight. It would be all about control and not about strength.

Seth practiced with the elements for hours, he only stopped when the sun rose. When he stopped, he felt that his magic and control had improved tremendously. His thoughts also felt even faster, it seemed that training magic was the fastest. He wanted to see what his growth was like so he opened his status and checked his attributes.

His stats had improved considerably, in just a few hours his magic and intelligence stats had increased by hundreds. This improvement was over the top, just a single year of training would make his stats go over 100000. This growth speed was too strong! He would probably reach the peak of the world in just a few years. Seth's future felt unimaginable, his bank account and the Overlords gift allowed his growth speed to reach this height.

Remembering the Overlord sent chills down Seth's spine. He had not accepted the Overlord's offer, this Overlord was probably much higher than a god. He had rejected an unimaginable powerhouse and it might come back to bite him. The Starter Package he had received was only a basic one as well, who knows just how good a better one would be? This question reminded Seth, the Overlord must have bought the Starter Package from somewhere.

Of course, the system waited a full day before it told him. Why wouldn't it? After cursing the system for a few minutes, Seth opened the shop. He navigated to the Special tab as everything else he needed had been bought.

They were expensive, but Seth still had more points than he would probably ever need. Even though the VIP shop cost almost 100 times what he had spent in total before, he still bought it. He opened the VIP Shop, he wanted to see what was for sale, he did pay 100 million for it. Everything was locked except for the Starter Packages, however, almost all of them were too much for even him to buy. Just the Basic Starter Package cost 10 million points and each one cost ten times the last. Seth could only afford the Basic Starter Package and the Small Starter Package. Anything else was too expensive.

Seth looked at all of his options, he was on edge as his next choice would be very important for his future. He weighed the option of saving his 100 million points and not taking it, or taking it for 100 million points and only having a chance that it is good. Although Seth trusted that the system would only have good stuff, this purchase was much larger than any other he had made. Based on the Basic Starter Package, the Small Starter Package would be very good. However, if he bought it, he may never be able to have the points to buy something more important later. If he bought it he would take so much longer to save up for the next one.

After much thought, Seth decided to buy the Small Starter Package for 100 million points, the most he had ever spent by far. He hoped it would be a good investment. Seeing the results, he knew he had made the right choice.

It was the same as the Basic Package but better, all of his skills were now higher level and he now had more than three times the attributes and growth speed. He noticed the new Talent Increase Technique, maybe now he would be able to upgrade his growth speed without the system. The Blood Burning Technique probably reduced his growth speed in exchange for power. These two techniques were probably two sides of the same coin. He would most likely have to trade in his power or life to increase his growth speed. Seth felt intense pain permeate throughout his body, it was much worse than the Basic Package. The intensity pushed Seth's mind and body over the edge and he fell unconscious from the pain.

...

The situation in the heavenly land was not as good as Seth's. Spirits were panicking, Seth had already lept over their expectations, the Overlord's appearance had put a stop to a lot of their plans. As had Seth's purchase of Ultra Protection. The ball of light and the god were plotting in the corner as they watched Seth's unconscious body in indignation.

...

When Seth woke up he knew what his stats would look like, so he didn't bother checking them. He still knew the state of his body, however. His bodily strength had increased almost tenfold, he hadn't even expected this increase. Looking around the room, Seth noticed that he could see many times more elements floating around. The elements were even slowly converging in his room. His higher affinity apparently caused elements to like him so much they passively gather around him. His affinities and strength had probably reached higher than anybody in the castle.

Seth found that the elements were much easier to control than before. He would not have to spend much energy at all, he could probably defeat the intruder from earlier in a matter of seconds now. The new All Affinities Mastery was many times more powerful than the last. He could possibly have the highest affinity mastery in the world. This thought caused Seth to remember that the world was supposed to be the strongest one. Maybe he hadn't seen the peak of the world's power yet.

Seth put this thought away and got out of bed, it was already morning. Seth still remembered his two new techniques, but he didn't want to try them just yet. He felt that he wanted to have a full assurance that he wouldn't mess something up and ruin his talents. He waddled out the door and was met with a familiar face. It was his brother, Augustus.

"Hi, Sethy!" Augie was very enthusiastic for some unknown reason. It was probably just how kids are.

"Hi, Augie!" Seth also sounded just as enthusiastic, it seemed that his body was affecting his actions much more than before.

"Follow me! I'll show you the dining table!"

"Okay!" Seth was starting to feel sick to the stomach from the overly sweet voices. He still followed Augie without mentioning anything.

After a minute of walking, they arrived at a room with a large table. It was fully lit with large floating lights and there was food on the table. It was sausages and eggs. There were many large plates of food, enough for over one hundred grown adults. Seth wondered who would eat all of the food, nobody was sitting at the table. The amount of food would be way too much for his family to eat as well.

"That food is for the personal knights. Not for me and Sethy." Augie noticed Seth's confusion about the food.

"I see." Seth was regaining control over his body, it seemed that it was only able to affect him heavily when his mind is tired. With him slowly waking up fully, he was able to curb his body's authority.

Augie walked Seth over to a smaller but more extravagant table. It had the same sausage and eggs but they were infused with elements. This breakfast was probably able to increase affinities and stats. The two boys sat down to eat just as the door opened behind them. A large group of armored men walked in, Arthur and Elizabeth walked in with them.

The guards sat at the large table and Seth's parents walked over to their table. As they sat down to eat, Elizabeth looked at Seth for a moment and froze in shock. She shook her head and began to eat. Seth's family all ate like nobles, they were refined and made no messes at all. This was to be expected of course, but Seth didn't know how the proper etiquette. He ate like a child, as he always had before.

"Seth, you need to learn how to eat like a gentleman."

"Why?"

"If you don't have proper etiquette, people that rely on you in the future will have less trust in you. You need to act like a king if you are to be a king in the hearts of the people." Arthur looked Seth in the eyes.

"If you are not a king in the minds of your subjects, you are not a king at all."

I hope you liked the chapter! If you can tell me how to improve my writing I would greatly appreciate it.
