4. Tell Me Where Is Maya

[Paris]

Jerry asks around about Maya but no clues. He sighs. He stops by a café where they sells coffee and desserts. He asks one of the employees. "Excuse me?" The employee looks up and sees Jerry. "Yes?" Jerry lifts a photo up, "Have you ever seen her before?" The employee thinks for a bit and said, "Yes, yes. I have. She and her friend always come in." "Friend?" "Yes." He takes another photo out and show to him. "Her?" "Yes. Those two always come in." "Do you know where they live?" "Mmm. Hold on a second. They sometimes ask for a delivery." Jerry sighs in relief. He waits as the employee went to get some receipt.

He came back and hand the receipt to Jerry. "Thank you." "No problem." Jerry dash out and head to the location. A few minutes later, he stands in front of a rundown apartment. (Here?) He head in and talk to the landlady. She said; "She's no longer living here." "Ah is that so?" "Yes. She said she's going to move in with her friend." "Do you know where they are staying?" "Mmm. I believe her friend owns a mansion in Egret Street. She lives with her grandmother." "Thank you."

Jerry then heads to Egret Street to find the mansion, sadly minutes later, no one was inside. He rings the doorbell but doesn't see anyone come out to greet him. One of the passbyers notices Jerry. "Sir, they're not home." "They're not?" "Sorry they're not. They all went vacation." "I see. Do you know when they're coming back." The man shook his head. "I'm sorry." "No. Thank you." The man walks away. Jerry looks at the mansion once more. "Maya...are you well?"

Kwan then returns to work after spending a week with Michael and Gram. As she enters the building, the nurse speaks up, "Dr. Simmons." "Hm?" She sees the nurses were fidgeting. "What is it?" "Um...he's here to see you again." "He?" "Helen's grandson." Kwan furrowed her brows. (Again?) "Mm. Thank you." "Y-Yes." She walks into her office and wasn't surprised to see him sitting on her chair. She ignores his presence as she walk towards her desk to look for a particular document.

He got irritated that she didn't even bother to greet him when she enter the office. She finally find the document; however, he takes the document from her hands. She glares at him. (Oh..? She knows how to make that kind of expression?) She then grabs him by his collar in order to take back the document what he took from her which he wasn't expect her to take action. Once she has the document back in her hands, she said, "If you're done fooling around, get out." She turns her heels and head out of her office.

He stands there in frozen for a while then get back into his senses. He chase right after her. He grabs her hand, "Hold on." "Let go." "We have some unfinished business." "Ha. I got nothing to say." She kicks him on the leg. "Ugh. You!" "Hmph." "Tell me where's Maya!!" She stops on her tracks and turns to him. "You approach me because I hold the key to find Maya?" He looks at her. She crossed her arms and said, "No matter how many times you ask, No matter how long you bow your head down to me. I won't tell you where she is." She turns her heels and left him there.
