The children and Claire retired to the top floor. This floor constituted a solarium. There was a soft lawn at their feet, a giant dome of glass atop their heads. This floor has a wider area than the other floors. It is like an egg skewered sideways on the two pillars. Bottom half of the egg is floor, Top half of the egg is a glass dome.
