The next day Ariel collected the last wages of the month from the restaurant and left. She didn't really have any friends here so there was no need of any last words and all.
At the exit of the restaurant gates though, She again saw the same policeman. Ariel slowed down her steps when she passed by that man.
He was talking on phone again.
"Did you talk to Miss Miller? She refused? What? No! Convince her! Talk to her. I am coming there."
Ariel heard this much only and then she was at a distance where she couldn't hear his voice. But a moment later, she suddenly heard a shout!
"Miss!"
She stopped walking and then turned around slowly, uncertain to herself whether it was really she who had been called.
But the policeman was walking towards herself only.
Ariel raised her eyebrows and stood at the same place with a calm expression on her face.
"Yes, Sir?"
"I apologise for disturbing you like this but I would like to ask something."
"Yes?"
"From where did you buy this bag?"
The policeman pointed to the bag Ariel was wearing on her back. Ariel glanced at it for a moment and then pretended to think for a while.
"It was a shop near the area I live."
The policeman was silent for a while before he said
"Miss, if by any chance you are going that way, can you show me that shop?"
Ariel was silent for a few seconds before she nodded her head an said
"Sure"
And just like that, the policeman and Ariel started walking together.
"My name is Joeff, by the way."
"I am Ariel."
"Ariel...we are looking for a thief. He uses the same kind of bag you are wearing. Have you happened to see anyone else using this same bag in this area?"
Joeff asked Ariel who replied a moment later.
"As far as I remember, no. But you can ask the shopkeeper who else bought this bag."
That's what Joeff was thinking of doing. So he merely nodded his head and they didn't talk to each other anymore.
Five minutes later, the shop appeared in the sight and Ariel told Joeff. As Joeff walked towards the shop, Ariel shook her head.
She wished to ask Joeff why he believed that the thief was a man only but she was not dumb enough to do so.
Silently, she walked towards her own hut.

Ariel didn't let the old lady cook today. It was she who cooked while the old lady guided her while sitting on the bed.
Sometimes the old lady talked about some incidents when Ariel was a young girl and laughed to herself remembering Ariel's stupidities.
Ariel understood that the old lady was trying to gather all the memories in these few days because she had already assumed that they won't be able to see each other for a long time after two days.
She never complained because she liked it.
For the next two days, she spent all her time with her grandmother only.
On the third day, an ambulance came in the morning. A nurse stepped outside the ambulance and knocked on the door of Ariel's hut.
It was Ariel who opened the door and the nurse told her that she has been sent by Ines. Ariel nodded her head and then looked towards Ambulance.
"I will need some time to ready my grandmother."
Ariel told the nurse who agreed politely and even offered help if she could. Ariel denied and the nurse went back to the ambulance waiting for Ariel to appear again with her grandmother.
On the other hand inside the hut, Ariel woke her grandmother up and told her about the ambulance.
The old lady frowned and started grumbling.
"You are sending me away so early in the morning. Why are you in so much hurry?"
Ariel didn't know what to say. The ambulance was sent by Ines. Ines should have informed her but Ariel couldn't really blame Ines as both of them didn't have any way to contact each other. Ariel didn't even have a mobile phone so how could she expect Ines to inform her beforehand.
In the end, she could only listen to her grandmother's grumblings as she helped the old lady in getting ready.
After almost ten minutes, she told the old lady.
"I need to join my new job by afternoon. That's why I called them early."
"Ohh..."
The old lady whispered and was strangely silent after this.
Ariel also didn't say much after this. She prepared a small bag for the old lady in which she put some things in daily use and some money.
Almost forty five minutes later, Ariel was walking towards Ambulance with her grandmother. The nurse stepped outside the ambulance as soon as she saw Ariel and helped Ariel with the bag.
Five minutes later, the ambulance left that area.
Ariel accompanied her grandmother to the hospital. She was satisfied to see that her grandmother was given a separate ward. She was aware that it must be very costly but Ines must had enough of money to arrange all this.
"Ariel!"
Her grandmother was on wheelchair and called her out in a hushed whisper. Ariel was looking at some forms while the nurse dragged the wheelchair. When she heard the old lady, she leaned down a bit and heard her asking
"You could just ask for a common ward. What is the use of a separate ward? I will just get bored there."
Ariel knew that the old lady was concerned about money and that's why she was saying this. She was about to say something when the nurse spoke up with a gentle smile on her lips.
"Ma'am, you don't need to worry at all. I would be there for you. Whenever you feel bored, you can talk to me. I am your personal nurse until the time you are getting treatment here."
The old lady didn't say anything to the nurse but was looking at Ariel silently.
Ariel sighed and made something up.
"Don't worry., Grandma. I have enough money. You just focus on getting treated."
The old lady didn't look convinced but Ariel couldn't really lie anymore and continued looking in the forms ignoring the old lady's suspicions.
