Under His Deathbed

*Concrete Rose*

Mei Deng pushed open the door a wooden house twice the size of the place he lived in temporarily with the general. He took a sweep of the inside, and was amazed at how cramped it looked, despite being so large.

On the walls, there were various drawings and illustrations, of different bodily postures and breathing exercises. Resting under a heavy looking table, was a refining furnace. Sitting on the table were various metals on one side, whilst on the other side were herbs, kept inside jars.

Mei Deng carefully examined the bottles that gave off a strong scent, he picked up one with a green liquid, and brought it to his nose.

"That is the elixir that made me famous, take a guess what it is?" The alchemist asked, emerging from one of the inner rooms, wearing a red robe.

Mei Deng cracked a nervous smile, "perhaps to preserve youth?" He responded, unsure of what could be inside the little jar.
