Mei Deng pinched his chin, 'The knife was brought in with the body and has been here the entire time…wait a second…' he narrowed his eyes, briefly recalling when their leader wiped the table clean with a rag.
"That's true, it wasn't on the table then. But that must mean that it had to have disappeared when the body was moved." Yu Xiaoguang thought aloud, realizing the killer used the movement of the body to stealthily steal the knife.
"Exactly. Now, think along with me, why would they want the knife?" The Tainted Ghoul inquired into his ear, then smirked at the patch of red resting on his outer lobes.
"Well, because it's as you initially stated, the knife belonged to your men, it could help narrow down the potential suspects." Was his answer, but he did not look satisfied with it.
He turned around with the intention to ask a question, but held back his words when he realized their noses touched for a second.
This man was certainly not reserved.
