The woman on the floor couldn't wrap her head around what Mei Deng was trying to tell her, but was somewhat confident he wouldn't be so cruel to her. Hence she quickly hugged his feet, clinging desperately to him.
"Mei-gege, don't be that way, you know better than anyone else that I am not that sort of person. That general really did try to have his way with me." She insisted, but Mei Deng held onto both her hands, then peeled her grip off so he could move.
"YaoYao, I'm not the same person I used to be, my trust isn't something so easy to acquire. And just so you know, I've already had my doubts since the beginning." He said, she furrowed her brows.
