After Da-Xia had calmed down and was taking a nap, Mei Deng left the room to stretch his legs and buy what she would eat when she woke up.
However, when he stepped outside, he saw the general slanted against a wall, waiting for him to come out. Mei Deng huffed, then closed the door after him, with a square look on his face, he folded his arms across his chest.
"Yu Xiaoguang, believe me when I say that I did not say all that to anger the child. I just didn't want to have to lie about us anymore." The general said, making gentle strides towards him.
But Mei Deng was not swayed, "There is nothing you can say to justify what you said to her. You weren't wrong, but the manner of approach matters most. For now, I don't want you near her, she already hates you…"
"Yu Xiaoguang, how can I explain that it's you I want to be close to and get nearer to. That is what caused all this in the first place." The general argued, trying to prove a point.
