Mei Deng had intended to scare off the general by saying something so sinful, little did expect that his plan would backfire and even encourage the general's goal.
He blinked twice, taking in the view of the general's determined eyes, a smile crept onto his face. Those eyes however, averted their gaze from his lips, to the light green Jade peacock hairpin stick sitting on a table.
Mei Deng followed his line of sight and cocked his brows, he couldn't recall placing that item on the table. Or seeing it since waking up in body.
Wang Tengfei stood up and picked it up, he stared at it closely, after he was satisfied he flung his head at his partner. "Is this yours?" He asked, holding it like the item held no real value.
On impulse, Mei Deng sprung out of bed and snatched it from the taller man's grip, making sure he was careful in handling it.
"Ah, so it is yours." He remarked with animated eyes, peering at a somewhat flustered Mei Deng.
