The bandits let Mei Deng to a camp ground which by the looks of it was newly set up. They had the general taken into a seperate tent, whilst they ushered Mei Deng to the largest tent.
There, Mei Deng noticed the scores of maps they had kept neatly in piles, resembling the ones he saw last when he was with the Tainted Ghoul.
"Tell us, are you truly the Tainted Ghoul?" One of the bandits asked, spearheading the questioning.
Mei Deng narrowed his eyes, 'They seem to be at ease around the Tainted Ghoul. I don't want to believe that he has anything to do with the recent bandit attacks. But at the same time, he is connected to them in one way, and this map proves it. For now, to act discreetly is the best move.'
Answering their question he sat on the available chair and crossed both feet on the table. "Believe me if you choose to, I'm not forcing you not to." He unequivocally said.
