A Farewell Message
Bingwen led his sister past Nuan and stood beside Mei Deng, clearly picking sides. The general who knew they had no time to spare, crouched down and carried both children in his arms.
"We leave in a minute, wrap things up and come with." Wang Tengfei said, then marched over to the awaiting carriage, he placed both children inside, then stood at the entrance to wait out the one minute he allocated.
And to also supervise the farewell.
Mei Deng knew better than to make the general and his children wait any longer, hence he quickly folded his palms and lowered his head.
"We're leaving now Nuan, I don't know if we will ever meet again, but I'd like to thank you." He started off calmly, in a bid to serenade the woman, despite being the one hurting from her words.
