Attempted Murder

"She's suffering from temporary emotional disorder so please don't make her get too emotional, it might affect her mental health forever. She's resting now so you guys should head out.", The doctor relayed the message to the family and Xu Feng and walked out together with them.

"Everything that happened is my fault", Fe Jung pushed the blame onto her as she sobbed in Xu Feng's arms.

"It's not your fault it's mine, I should have told her about our relationship earlier. It's okay stop crying, you'll sadden my heart", Xu Feng rubbed her hair trying to comfort her.

An hour later...

Fe Di opened her eyes with a bit of struggle, she glanced around and saw that she was still in the same old place.

She saw two of her family bodyguards standing by her bedside.

"What are you two doing here?", Fe Di was confused as to what was going on, her life wasn't in danger so why did she need bodyguards to guard her?

"Second Young Mistress, Master ordered us to guard you and make sure you don't go anywhere", The bodyguard bluntly told her the truth since he didn't see the need to hide it from her.

"What?!", Fe Di exclaimed and sat up immediately ignoring the pain she felt around her body. What right did he have to do this? Did he think she was a prisoner?

"What if... what if I want to visit the washroom?"

"We would have to escort you, your father ordered us not to have you away from our eyes for even a second!"

"Oh is that so? Then can I have your phone? I've lost mine and I want to make a phone call to my elder sister"

Since she had mentioned that she wanted to call her elder sister he agreed and then stood by her, indeed she tapped on Fe Jung's contact and the call went through.

In order not to eavesdrop on the conversation the bodyguard stepped aside.

After speaking to her for a while she hanged up.

Thirty minutes later...

Fe Di hugged her abdomen as she felt severe pain, it was menstrual crumbs.

"Second Young Mistress are you okay?", The bodyguard noticed her actions and moved closer to her.

Fe Di couldn't respond as she was in severe pain so she only shook her head and pointed towards the door.

The bodyguard understood her message and rushed towards the door to call for a doctor.

There was still one bodyguard remaining and guarding her.

The same moment the bodyguard walked out a doctor in black mask walked in.

Fe Di recognized her and the two winked at each other, before the bodyguard could blink an eye he was injected and went unconscious immediately.

The female doctor took off her mask and the two high-fived each other.

The pain had all been pretentious, she had indeed called her stepsister but she had also sent a message to her friend secretly.

"Now leave immediately, I'll explain everything to you. I've prepared a cab for you already, it will take you straight to your apartment. When we meet each other again you'll explain everything to me alright?"

Fe Di thanked her friend and then took the doctor's coat, she put on the mask and walked out.

If she continued to stay here her life might only be in danger since she didn't know what that heartless family might be planning against her.

She wasn't a fool, she knew that the only reason her family and so called friends treated her well was only because of Xu Feng.

Now that there was no relationship between them, she wondered how they would act towards her.

Fe Di threw away the doctor's coat and then found the cab her close friend had prepared for her at the hospital.

She had to go pack her stuffs at her apartment and find another place to stay because her family would definitely come looking for her over there.

But what she still didn't understand was why they were acting like this, she had the feeling that they wanted to kill her.

Fe Di was so deep in thoughts that she didn't realize that the the driver was moving in the wrong direction, it was only later that she realized it.

"Mister this isn't the way to Top apartments, where are you heading to?"

However the cab driver ignored her and continued driving.

Wasn't this the cab that her friend prepared for her? So what was going on? She could sense danger from the smile at the corner of his lips.

Fe Di started to panic and tried to open the door however it was locked.

"Who are you? Why are you doing this? Who ordered you to do this?", Fe Di's whole body was trembling as she spoke.

"There's no need for you to ask, you should have easily guessed who it was already right?", The driver was being sarcastic and chuckled at the end of his sentence. Was this girl a fool? Didn't she know that it was her own so called friend?

"Impossible! No... she would never...she betrayed me?", Fe Di didn't feel the urge to cry though, she had somewhat gotten used to being betrayed. It was just that...it...it was too painful.

They all wanted her to die right? Then she wasn't going to! She would achieve what they hated.
