CHAPTER 65 - How They Met 2

She wasn't like many he had met, that was for sure, but as soon as hell laid his eyes on her face, his dragon leapt for joy in his mind.

Never in his four hundred years of existence did he feel so delighted as he did now.

He could feel he had found that missing piece and puzzle in his life, making him complete.

"Huh." She twisted her lips, forcing her laughter in. "You missed something?" She questioned. This time her sweet chocolate gaze raked over his bewildered face.

That question seemed to have gotten his brain working and he shook his head, bringing his full focus back to her.

"Hello," Xavier greeted.

"Hi." She shied away and shook her head at him.

Not wanting to embarrass her further and himself, he turned back to the door, placing his hand behind his back and cleared his throat.
