Even though she had made the first strike, she was shocked he actually did something like that. 

Although they usually bantered, he never went out right to speak to her that way. 

Clenching her hands at her side, she managed a small smile but the deadly look in her eyes spoke a different tale.

"I am really glad you said so. I shall remind you in time," Raven enunciated with a hint of a mile on her face.

"Thank you for the meal but it is not needed. You can take it and get out of my sight."

"You sure?"

"Yes. After all, who knows if you wouldn't kill me the way you killed her?"

He raised a brow at Raven, questioningly. "I thought we were over this before? Do you really mean you are that daft? Please, stop disappointing me, each time, Raven. I expected better from the person whose father is the advisor to your king."
