If Erine did something to hurt Caroline, he would never forgive her, no matter how Quentin tried to defend her.

"Eddison, do you want to take a look at it?" Caroline asked.

"I'm not interested. Put down your phone and let's go to bed," he said.

He took her phone away, muted it, and placed it on the bedside table. Switching off all the lights, he went to sleep with her in his arms.

She muttered in his arms, "You're right. It's just a Facebook status. What else could it mean? I should just go to sleep. The baby needs rest too."

Stroking her belly gently, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep, without being bothered about the matter anymore.

However, the next morning, once she arrived in her office, Erine brought in another cup of coffee. She was about to glance at her when the latter immediately realized that she had prepared the wrong drink again.

In a haste, she apologized and changed the drink.
