Beginning of Cadet Training

After being trained by Arno for 2 years Eren and Armin felt as if they were ready to give up on joining the military. But Arno felt that they were ready to join the training corps. Although Eren is probably going to be better off than Armin they should both blow through the training without a problem.

Because Oxford is a remote village traveling to the nearest recruitment area would take a few days. So everyone was packing things to go and so was Arno so he didn't look weird. What was packed was mostly clothes and travel food and a few other commodities like toothbrushes.

While the walk was relatively uneventful it was just annoying whenever mosquitoes were biting.

'Interesting' Arno thought as he was observing a mosquito that survived getting squashed. 'Did it just regenerate?!?' He thought as he watched it regrow a leg on his arm.

*Smack* Arno hit the mosquito on his arm before walking off.

But the mosquito survived and would recover from the hit only to get eaten by a nearby frog.

Arriving to join the military everyone was sent to the 104th cadet corps. 

Everyone was standing in the columns like in the anime with Kieth Shadis walking around basically insulting everyone while skipping a few is the best way to describe it.

"Hey Maggot." Kieth was standing over Armin

"Sir!" Armin gave a salute.

"WHAT'S YOUR NAME MAGGOT?!" Kieth

"Armin Arlert of Shiganshina district, Sir!!" 

"Is that right?!" Kieth yelled "What a dumb name!! Did your Parents give it to you?!"

Well this is exactly as it happened in the manga with Marco and Jean and of course Connie still saluted with the wrong hand.

"IS YOUR HEART ON YOUR RIGHT SIDE CONNIE?

*Nom* 

Potato girl who was right next to Connie was, wouldn't you know it, eating a potato.

"Hey…" He looked incredibly surprised. "What the hell are you doing?"

The girl looked around for a second "Wha—"

"YOU SCUM I'M TALKING TO YOU!! WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR NAME?!"

Swallowing her potato quickly before she spoke"Dauper village, Wall Rose, south district!! Sasha Braus. Sir!"

"Sasha Braus…" Pausing for a brief second. "What is in your right hand?"

"A potato."

Why'd you eat this potato"

"Um, are you asking why people eat potatoes in general?"

Next thing you knew Sasha was running around the camp until she dropped. But worst of all, at least for her, she wasn't allowed to eat that day.

At the mess hall everyone was eating some bread and soup as they were talking. Arno sat with Eren and Armin and of course Mikasa sat with him. 

Somewhere along the way inside Arno had actually convinced Krista to sit with his group.

"Hey" krista said shyly to my group

The reason for trying to get Krista is simple: She is the heir of the royal family. Luckily I got to her before Ymir did so I basically have free reign over her. 

The reason I didn't want Ymir around her is because not only would she make it more difficult for me to get closer, she would also destroy her when she leaves for Marley.

Why was I going to allow her to go to Marley? Well because Reiner and Bertolt need to recover the jaw titan so they don't get their titans transferred. Another thing I want is a weaker Marley and I will achieve this by demoralizing two of their strongest titans using guilt. 

Also in a war between Eldia and Marley the Marleyans cannot complain that we used titans when they themselves used titans. So a good amount of this is PR.

Annie is a different story. I don't know if her combat effectiveness will be changed by her guilt. I will try to get her into my Harem that I will start building. Peick is also a good addition but to get her I first need annie. I want Annie because like Mikasa she will be a great boon in the war I want to provoke. Well to be fair the war will start regardless of what I do.

"Arno can we talk?" Mikasa said with a dark look in her eyes.

"Sure." I said caught slightly off guard even though I was expecting this.

Mikasa grabbed my arm and pulled me outside. Either nobody saw or they didn't care that we left the mess hall.

I already knew what she wanted to talk to me about so I just waited for her to speak.

"Arno ever since you saved me and took me into your home I felt like you were someone special to me."

I felt nothing when Mikasa said this but I reached my hand out to pat her head.

I pulled Mikasa close and kissed her on the forehead as I reached into my pocket and pulled out a copy of one of my birth-giver's necklaces. It was a silver chain with a dark blue sapphire.

I put the necklace around her neck and said "I will be that special person so long as you belong to me."

Mikasa was obviously not expecting me to say this but with a tearful smile she managed to say "I always will."

I let out an elegant outward smile for Mikasa and kissed her lips that felt electric. But, we both sucked at kissing. It was like one of those old movies where the inexperienced couple miss each others lips completely or at least it felt that way.
