CHAPTER NINETEEN
"Yeye, happy birthday"Luo Lin said giving Wei Ye a hug,a look of disdain flashed through Wei Ye eyes but it disappeared the minute she was released from the hug.
Feng Shui also wanted to hug her but Wei Ye swiftly diverted from the hug. Feng Shui could only awkwardly stand in silence and embarrassment.
Li Yanshu sipped out of her wine as she watched them exchange pleasantries, Luo Lin and Feng Shui eventually sat down.
"Xiao Lin,Shui,Li Yanshu is back"Wei Ye said pointing at Li Yanshu who was calmly taking little sips out of her wine.
She wasn't in an hurry to finish it as she knows that these trio have something up their sleeves. Luo Lin and Feng Shui face changed drastically,Luo Lin stood up at once"how dare you show your face here again?"her voice quivered with anger,and yet again,all eyes became plastered on them.
Li Yanshu couldn't believe how foolish Luo Lin was,to behave like a mad and crazy woman here. "Why can't i show my face here?,do you own this place?"Li Yanshu asked peacefully even though she knows that Luo Lin wanted to stir out trouble.
Although, this was surprising as back five years ago,Li Yanshu would have never talked back and would take all the insults in silence but Wei Ye had already told them that Li Yanshu had changed,so she expected it.
"After all what you've done,you still have the cheek to show yourself here again?".
"You keep beating around the bush,just spit it out already"Li Yanshu said with a straight face. Luo Lin froze for a bit before speaking"After seducing all the boys in the dormitory including my boyfriend,you still come back to the city again to make fun of yourself".
Li Yanshu showed her a half smile, then spoke"should i take it that you're concerned for me?"Li Yanshu paused and added"And why don't i remember seducing anybody especially your boyfriend, could it be that you don't have a boyfriend?".
Luo Lin cheeks reddened after Li Yanshu spoke,she then accusingly pointed at Li Yanshu"Of course,i had a boyfriend and you seduced him".
"I seduced him simply means he wasn't interested in you in the first place. You should thank me for helping you get rid of such a scumbag"Here shameless words made some women giggle, although it was berating for Luo Lin,it was funny to some.
Luo Lin eyes also reddened "Li Yanshu, you're shameless,I can't believe you'll say something like that"tears started pooling out,one out of embarrassment and the second,out of anger.
"What did i say wrong?,you clearly said i seduced your boyfriend and what's wrong in admitting it"Li Yanshu scrutinized Luo Lin face before speaking "I do have your boyfriend number, let's give him a call to clarify the matter on ground unless... you have something to say"Li Yanshu brought out her phone and dialed a number,she paused when she was about to press the call button.
"Do you have something to say?".
Feng Shui tugged Luo Lin cloth and gave her a signal to apologize,"Since you have nothing to say,i guess i have to call him".
Li Yanshu pressed the call button and it began to ring,the hall was quiet and the ringing tone of Li Yanshu phone was the only sound heard.
"Stop"Luo Lin said in a panick,Li Yanshu severed the signal from her phone"Yes,i hope it's important"their was a slight note of impatient in her tone as she spoke.
Luo Lin sighed,she clenched her fists by her sides"Am sorry"she said with a gritted teeth.
"Sorry for what?"Li Yanshu said with a rough tone. Luo Lin was quiet, hesitating to speak"Am sorry for lying against you,i don't have a boyfriend and you didn't seduce anybody".
Li Yanshu dropped her phone on the table"I know"she said with a mocking voice,the taunting tone Li Yanshu used made Luo Lin realize something.
Her face was filled with horror as she said bitterly"You tricked me".
"Yes,i did. If i hadn't, you won't have realized your mistake"Li Yanshu said claiming what Luo Lin said.
"Li Yanshu,why must you shame me?"Luo Lin sniffed as she spoked. No one had ever tricked her like this,now Li Yanshu,a girl who cowered in the face of danger played with her.
Li Yanshu chuckled darkly"You shamed yourself by yourself. Stop blaming me for all your misfortunes, you having no boyfriend have nothing to do with me but yet you blamed me. Is not my fault that I'm this pretty"Her praising herself earned a lot of subconscious smile mostly because people agreed with what she said.
Before Luo Lin could say another word,Wei Ye finally spoke up"Luo Lin, it's okay. You've ruined my birthday enough,leave".
Luo Lin faced Wei Ye"I should leave,leave your party all because of this evil woman".
"Wei Ye,if your friend keeps on bothering Shushu, I'll have no choice but to call the police"It was Mu Ze that spoke,his voice was cold.
He had been staring at Li Yanshu and Luo Lin bantering and would have loved to stop them but when Li Yanshu spoke for herself,he knew she could handle it all by herself.
With a signal from her hands,two guards came and held Luo Lin by her arms. Luo Lin was stunned,she faced Li Yanshu"Are you happy now?,am going to be thrown out because of you".
Li Yanshu was tired of Luo Lin trying to blame her for everything,so she kept quiet and took a sip of her wine.
Luo Lin began more furious as the guards dragged her with across the hall,so many people of prestige were staring at her with mocking gaze.
And everything was all because of Li Yanshu,her mind became filled with hatred.
When Wei Ye came to her and Feng Shui for help,she agreed to help because she knew that if she could spit out some embarrassing stuffs about Li Yanshu, people would hold her with high esteem for being courageous enough and therefore indulge her in their circle.
But Li Yanshu disgraced her,now everybody was mocking her. How will face them in the future.
As they dragged her away,Wei Ye darted her gaze to Li Yanshu then she secretly pinched Feng Shui.
