CHAPTER FIVE

The Old woman hugged her in a tight bear hug,not just Li Yanshu, everyone was taken aback. Mu Ze came and stood in front of the shocked Li Yanshu"What's going on here?".

The Old woman released Li Yanshu and said"Li Yanshu is your sister-in-law".

Li Yanshu: ...

"She's not, she's my fiancee"Mu Ze said confused by what his grandmother is telling him.

The Old woman didn't bother to respond to him anymore,she held Li Yanshu tenderly like she was a porcelain doll and took her to the dinning table.

"Sit"she said to Li Yanshu pointing at a chair near her own chair but Li Yanshu made no sign of sitting. The Old woman was angry not being listened to,Li Yanshu who noticed that was quick to explain"I can't sit when my kids doesn't have a seat of their own".

The Old woman eyes travelled over to the two cute and adorable kids,she signalled for a maid,she then whisphered into the maid ears.

The maid nodded and faced Li Yanshu"She'll take care of them"The Old woman said to Li Yanshu.

Li Yanshu was a little skeptical about giving out her children to a family who hates her,The Old woman noticed her doubted look on her face and said"We won't harm them, promise?".

Finally,Li Yanshu was relieved. She knew the Old woman never goes back on her promises so she handed them over to the maid.

Li Cherry got scared and refused to go with the maid,she held her mother's clothes tightly and said"Mama,i don't wanna go"she whined.

"I'll come back to get you,okay?,just ten minutes"Li Yanshu said to placate her daughter but she still didn't let go.

The Old woman smiled as her eyes twinkled with joy,she faced Li Cola and said"You look more mature and charming,why don't you take your little sister and follow the maid".

Pleased at being praised,Li Cola cleared his throat and whisphered into Li Cherry's ears,the little girl stopped at once and without saying anything else,she walked in the front as if to lead the maid and Li Cola.

The Old woman gave him a thumbs up,Li Cola almost blushed but he restrained himself and just smiled showing his two cute dimples at the side of both cheeks before following the maid.

Li Yanshu wondered what Li Cola had said to Li Cherry to make her that submissive. Her daughter that she knows was even more stubborn than Li Cola himself.

What Li Cola said must have a great impact on her.

"You all,have your seat"The Old woman yelled at the confused faces,they all hurriedly had their seats.

The Old woman then faced Li Yanshu,her cold nature was wiped away and she suddenly had a sweet and saccharine demeanor when she looked at Li Yanshu.

"Where have you been all this while Shushu?"Li Yanshu felt weird when she heard that name 'shushu',it was a name that they all used to call her back then.

Calming herself down,she responded"I went to the states".

"I was so heartbroken when i heard that you divorced that brat,you didn't even tell me so that i could avenge you and let that evil woman suffer". Li Yanshu was curious to who the evil woman was,so she asked"Who's the evil woman?".

"Wei Ye"The Old woman said gritting her teeth but soon she smiled and said"but now that you're back, you'll surely take Mu Zhen back right?, he's been looking around for you over this five years and would be glad to hear that you're back"Li Yanshu gulped as various emotions flew over her.

He's been looking around for me? or was grandma just saying that just for me to feel better?,Li Yanshu thought.

"NO WAY!, she's mine. Are you guys not hearing me at all or am i invisible?. I've proposed to her, she'll become my wife soon. She might have been Mu Zhen wife but they've divorced and i got her"Mu Ze said rising up to his feet.

The Old woman was displeased by his manners"Just ten years in the states have made you forget how to respect your elders. Mu Qilu,take care of your son"The Old woman glared at her youngest son who nodded and held Mu Ze down.

"But dad..."he whined but one ferocious look from his father was enough to keep him shut.

"Mrs Mu,Mu Ze is right. He proposed to me and we'll soon get married,we came here to ask for your blessings"Li Yanshu said.

"Wei Ye seems to have such an impact on Mu Zhen so you have to up your game when trying to get Mu Zhen back. No matter the decisions you make, I'll always support you"The Old woman pretended to have not heard what both Mu Ze and Li Yanshu said.

Li Yanshu was dumbfounded,was this woman hearing aid missing or why couldn't she hear what they've been saying all this while.

"Grandma, it's so nice to catch up with you but i have to get going so as to unpack"Li Yanshu said,Mu Ze was happy at once but managed to keep it in.

The Old woman was clearly not happy at her words.

"But you've only alighted from the plane and haven't eaten anything,the maids will soon bring something edible to eat, just wait for a bit"Li Yanshu really didn't want to stay here anymore in fear of meeting Mu Zhen but the Old woman look made her feel guilty so she nodded.

"Great,you can't go back on your words"she said giving a sign to the maid to bring food.

"Grandma,am here,hope am not late"Everybody eyes went towards the voice.
