Chapter 7: The White Suit

(In The Past)

From the other room came the sound of soft feet. Into the room ran a figure with a single eye-patch, which covered it's right amber eye. It's fur was red with it's chest fur being more of a lighter variation. It's snout reminded Ford of a Wolf, but it was different, it's hair short and uncontrolled. "It's Foxy!" Yelled a child. "Foxy's here!" Another shrieked with joy. Foxy? Ford didn't know who Foxy was at all. Among the cheering, the fox quickly took his place on the stage, which had opened it's purple curtains as if to welcome him. Standing still for a moment, the fox began waving to the crowd. "YAR!" He shouted with glee. "Welcome to my One Time Show kiddies. I do hope you're ready to meet Foxy!" Ford smiled. Foxy didn't seem to bad, everyone cheered as he struck poses and gave off quite the flamboyant attitude. But for some reason, Ford was focused on something else about the fox. There was this smell coming from him...

"Ford, come on, I hear they've got Chica over here!" Ford's brother shouted from far away. "Coming Joey!" He yelled back, taking off to see the other animatronic. He turned to look at Foxy midway and realized barely anyone was paying attention except for one little boy. He had walked in with a black haired girl earlier, but she was nowhere to be seen now. The little boy didn't even seem to notice. He was fixated on Foxy, and Foxy was looking at him a bit weird to- Ford suddenly ran into Joey. He had not realized he was so close to his destination, a bit too close now. "Hey ya land-lover, watch where ya going!" His brother joked. Then his brother got a spook. "Hey!" Foxy cried from the stage. "That's MY line!" Everyone laughed a bit at how the fox had reacted, but stopped as Foxy began to make his way off stage. He was actually coming over to them as if a person. "Now you have no right to use such language LAND-LOVER, only REAL pirates can use that language." He put his hand to his chin. "But maybe, I could make you an honorary member of my crew, if you stay awhile.

singing a song. Joey helped Ford up and took his hand to lead him to Chica. There has an entire hallway in the way, and Ford so badly wanted to sprint over and just see the big white bird already. Joey had told him how Chica was his favorite, he wanted to see what the big hubbub was. As they approached the silver door separating Chica and Foxy's rooms, Ford realized the smell was gone. He looked back towards Foxy's Cove, a bit unnerved, the lights still visible through a reflected glare.

Behind the silver door was a room just like Foxy's, but instead of white tiles, they were yellow, and there was confetti being shot into the air. There were tables both in and out of the confetti's range, and walking around all of this was a big white chicken with a bib wrapped around her neck that said "Let's Eat." Ford was sure of it, this was Chica. She was just like Joey described her. She wasn't a pirate like Foxy, but she acted as if she was alive, stopping to talk to people, and it seemed like they were actually holding conversation with her until someone called her name and she walked over to them. "Hey," Joey said to break Ford's train of thought. "You wanna say Hi to Chica? We've gotta leave in a bit." Ford nodded and waved his hand. Chica actually noticed him and knew to come over, the robot inside must have been very smart. It went to a backroom that had a song playing that Ford recognized. Turelador? Torecore? Whatever it was, it was very familiar, and really soothing. Ford kinda wanted to go to it. Chica then came back with a little kid, escorting him to his table, and going back into the backroom to turn off the music. She looked bothered by something. In a few minutes though, Chica was over to give smiles and high fives to Ford AND his brother. "Heya guys, I'm Chica!" She said in a goofy voice. You'd think it'd be a human's, but it had a metal sound to it as well. "Nice to meet ya, are you having fun?"

Joey smiled back. "We're having a blast!" He said. "We may have to leave soon though." Chica to jump a little at this, which was another weird thing to add to the list. "Wait! We have a really special show starting really soon! Why don't you stay and see it?" Joey shook his head. "Sorry, if we stayed to see the beginning, we'd have to see the whole thing, and we really have to go." Even as a kid, Ford knew why Joey was in a rush. Their dad. Their dad was an alcoholic to put it lightly, and to put it bluntly, he was a complete mess, a person who even when they aren't drunk shouldn't be a father. He didn't have a medical issue. There was nothing wrong with how he understood things and how what he was doing was bad. He was just a bad person, and it was all on him. But Joey and Ford didn't say anything back then. They were too scared.

Chica sighed and said, "Well, I hope you enjoyed what you saw..." She began walking away but turned back. "Are you sure?" Joey nodded and Chica went to go talk to another table. Ford was disappointed. Just because he knew why they had to leave didn't mean he wanted to. "Come on Joey, let's stay!" He said. Joey shook his head.

"You know why we can't. He'll kill us if we're late." Joey's voice had already risen a bit.

"No he won't, what if we told someone abou-" Ford was cut off.

"NO! WE'RE LEAVING! GOT IT?!?" By this point, without Ford even realizing it, Joey had pulled Ford out of the building quickly, as if he knew where this conversation was going. But Ford didn't want to go. Ford wanted to go back inside and see Chica's special show. So with a lot of force, and a bit of malice from being yelled at, Ford bit his brother's hand. "AAH!" He screamed, but Ford was already booking it for the entrance now that he was free. He went through the double doors, and all of a sudden, they shut, and so did all of the other entrances. It was as if someone slammed them shut behind him, but no one was anywhere near the entrance he went through. He had made sure in case someone tried to stop him. No, the doors had just... closed...

Ford was now in hallway separating Chica and Foxy's rooms. He began making his way to Chica's when he heard something. From inside the room there was moaning, gauging, someone making different sounds. Ford began to walk towards Chica's silver entrance and listen. "Chica?" He heard a little girl say, asking the character if she was okay. Then whispers from adults. Then silence. Then moaning. Then again the girl.

Then...

*SNAP!* Ford could hear it through the door. It had seemingly come out of nowhere from the silence, but it was easily heard and very much Yo. People began screaming loud, no one said words, only screams of concentrated fear. Ford could tell what was coming next, no one screaming like that would stay anywhere near what they were screaming at. He pushed himself of the door as it opened to a stampede of shouting people. Parents and children alike were yelling for each other, some right beside each other and simply confused, others not so much. As Ford was forced to the ground, the power in building began to go out. The screams grew louder, but one voice stood out to Ford, Joey's. He had come back for him, calling out to him through the tsunami of fear. "BRO!" Ford screamed. "BRO, I'M HERE!" He screamed again. Joey has stopped calling out for Ford, but instead of being paranoid, Ford realized the only reason Joey would stop is if he heard him, or saw him. Ford tried to stand up, but people kept pushing him back down.

"No, NO!" Ford suddenly heard his brother scream. "Stop, my brother's in there, I need to get through, stop!" Ford was scared, Joey was being pushed away by the crowd. "BRO!" He yelled, but upon getting up, he was elbowed by a passing kid. He fell to the ground, his head pounding from the hit. It was most definitely someone older than him that had hit him, but regardless, he was losing consciousness.
