Chapter 7:- Love really hurts without you

morning 5:00 am

My phone starts ringing and I woke up trying to open my eyes thinking who is calling me this early in the morning as soon as I tried to pick up it went silent so I didn't bother to call back and got back to sleep my phone rang again this time I picked it up and asked in an irritated voice why the hell are you calling me this early. On the other side, Ankita said wake up you Kumbh Karan today is the day. We are going for the resort get up and get ready fast. I got shocked and my sleep just vanished I got up and told her yeah I'm coming please wait for me. She said the bus will arrive soon so come fast. I got myself ready as fast as I just packed my bag and went out without taking a bath or eating breakfast. I was in so much hurry that I couldn't miss this day. Today is the day I'll tell Ankita about my feelings today.

I reached the bus stop and saw that there aren't any buses I wonder why? Wait it's 5 in the Morning of course the bus hasn't started yet I started searching for an auto-rickshaw luckily I got one and went to the office. Everyone was there waiting for me they all looked at me and said. Why are you always late Yuvraj? I apologised to them and then I spotted Ankita and there she was coming towards me in her white dress. To tell you the truth I couldn't take my eyes off her. She was looking so beautiful that I couldn't shake her out of my head. Then my TL told me to stop dozing off and head towards the bus we are leaving. Everyone started to take their seats, unfortunately, my seat was not even close to Ankita I was sitting on her opposite left side on a single-seater, now how do I tell her?

Ankita called me and said Mr. photographer click our pictures before our trip so I clicked the group photo. The bus started and Ankita called me again with a new name Mr Musicians play the songs I looked and her and asked am I the only person you visible here. Then she said you are an expert Yuvraj any other guy will play some boring music but I have seen your playlist you have all the dope songs so connect your Bluetooth and start the music. Not gonna lie but I loved her compliment very much it made my day. As soon as I started playing the song everyone started praising me great job Yuvraj dope playlist. Everyone loved the music and started dancing to the music.

Ankita started dancing too and she was doing great everyone was looking at her. I started recording her dance suddenly she came to me and started insisting I join her. But I said no I don't know how to dance at all said pulled me with her and said even I don't how to dance but still, I'm enjoying myself you should do it too. I said okay and started to dance with the best steps I knew everyone was shocked and they started recording me. I stopped dancing and said that all I know everyone started cheering once more. I said no never again Ankita said you liar every time you tell me that I'm don't how to do it but you always come out as a champion. I got all shy with that compliment and said that's my talent. Ankita also laughed and said 'jaa bay' don't get on the seventh sky now.

Everyone started dancing and I sat there with her friend to get some rest. She complimented me and said you are a good dancer I laughed and said why are sitting here you should dance too, she said no. I was looking at Ankita and she suddenly asked me you have a crush on trupti right? I got shocked hearing that out of a blue. I asked her who told her that? She said Ankita told me. I said no I love the girl who told you that I suddenly stopped just to realize that I just spilled the beans. She got shocked and said you love Ankita. Now there was no pointing in hiding so I told her yes. Then why did you tell her you like trupti now even if you tell her the truth it will give a wrong impression on your character. What should I do I just panicked and told her trupti's name I got scared that I'll lose our friendship too if I'll tell her the truth.

She told me don't worry I'll make her understand the whole situation. I asked her will you do that for me. She said of course Ankita is my best friend and you are a good person a good match for her so I'll help you out. So I smiled telling her to thank you and I couldn't stop smiling. She laughed and said okay now stop blushing like a lady Yuvraj. Finally, we reached the resort and booked rooms for ourselves everyone was shouting and taking pictures. After a while, they all changed their clothes and got ready to go to the pool. I took my t-shirt off and went with them they looked at me and said are you going like this? I said yes. Ankita said wear your t-shirt you don't even have muscles to flex. I replied I may not have a muscular body but I am sure to have abbs. Ankita laughed and asked for my phone, I asked her why? She told me that she had some work. I gave her my phone and went downstairs. There I grouped my guys and we went to get some booze. We bought the cigarettes and booze and Ankita saw me with cigarettes and booze and got angry she called me a drunkard and went away without returning my phone to me. My TL and colleges started drinking and I joined them too. After finishing my drinks I was feeling a little high. We all went to the pool area and there I saw Ankita was playing in the water I felt happy and decided to join her. I took a dive in the water and everyone else jumped in too they all started playing, pulling pranks and enjoying themselves. I was swimming there and everyone was shocked looking at me how am swimming so well and performing stunts after getting high.

But Ankita was ignoring me all the time. After that, we all went for lunch and her friend came to me and said why did drank so much? I asked her what happened? She told me Ankita didn't like my behaviour and she was angry. I asked did you talked about my feelings? Was she able to understand? She told me Ankita doesn't love you she only thought of you as a best friend but now she won't even want that. I got all shocked and my mind got sober in an instant. It came as a shock to me.

I was sad and I sat there in complete silence then I decided to talk with Ankita but she was ignoring me the whole time. The time of departure came Ankita gave my phone back and went on the bus. I was devastated so I sat at the last seat connected my earphones and listened to sad songs. Our bus reached the mountains and the TL told us that we'll be climbing the mountains and after that, we'll leave for home. I was feeling a little lightheaded but still, I managed to climb the mountain without any issue. I was the first to reach the top there I looked at the beautiful view ahead of me and took some great pictures there. He told me Mr Superman please come down now.

After that everyone start to go down and I followed them too accidentally my leg slipped and I lost my balance. I started to run downwards trying to balance myself but I was going too fast to stop now there was a cliff ahead of me and I was going right towards the cliff. Everyone got scared for me. Suddenly I saw there was little space left on a cliff filled with grass and pebbles. I was unable to slow down so I increased my speed and jumped high shifting my balance to the left side. Luckily I fell on the left side on the grass. But I got hurt due to hitting my body hard on the ground. My friends came running to me to see if I'm alright. They told me dude you almost died there my TL also came for me. He asked me if I was hurt and started shouting at me are you crazy you could have died back there. I am responsible for your safety, he shouted at me a lot and I deserved it too.

I agreed with everything he said I saw there Ankita was standing there at the back she didn't even care to ask if I was alright? I heard Ankita telling her friends 'that's what happens when you drink too much on a trip'. The more I tried to talk to her the more she ignored me, Everyone got on the bus and I told Ankita I wanted to talk. But she said she was very tired and we can talk tomorrow in the office. So I sat there In silence listening to the song 'love really hurts without you'.

The bus reached at the office and everyone said bye to each other and left except ankita she didn't even said bye to me. I was very sad I went home and slept without having my dinner that night.
