They got to a restaurant and sat to eat, Jack noticed a young girl, a blonde, with beautiful green eyes, a nice sexy lips, a very beautiful woman, she was dressed officially and she seems to be struggling with her bag zipper, suddenly all the books she stuffed in her armpit including the bag was on the floor and she groaned before bending to pick it up

/"Now go help the damsel in distress/" Jack said and Micah rolled his but then Jack pushed him out of the booth, and he groaned before walking to the young lady, he glanced at the documents on the floor and found out it was her Curriculum Vitae, he bent to help her picked them up, the young girl was surprised when she saw long slender fingers picking her books, she had seen a shadow loomed over her but didn't put mind to it, she looked up and she was looking at the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen, the first question that appeared in her mind was whether he was wearing a contact, he picked up the documents and stood up and she followed, he handed it to her

/"I believe this is yours/" he said in a nice deep velvet voice

/"Yes, thank you/" she said more like chanted, her voice was pleasing to the ear

/"I noticed your CV/" he said and was surprised that there was not a look of recognition in her eyes when she looked at him, everybody knows Micah Steele' but she seems not to, he assumed.

/"Yes/" she said simply

/"You are not from around here are you?/" He asked and she smiled, she has an enchanting smile, he once thought Zana has the most beautiful smile but this one here... Stop stop stop, he screamed in his mind to stop his thought

/"No I'm not, I'm from Los Angeles/" she said and he raised an eyebrow

/"Are you? What are you doing in London?/" He asked

/"What else? Work of cause/" she said

/"No jobs in LA?/" He asked and she smiled

/"Not really, just that I have been in LA for as long as I can remember, I wanted to try out a new environment, although I came here because I had a job waiting for me only to be told that the space is already taken when I arrived and I don't just want to go back since I have already quit my former job, so I decided try out a few more places here/" she said and then looked at him embarrassed

/"Sorry, I talk too much, it happens like that whenever I'm stressed/" she said embarrassed and he gave a faint smile, he is not the type to smile a lot, she concluded

/"No, it's okay, you never know where help might come from/" he said and she nodded

/"Yea, you are right/"

/"So have you tried the Steele empire? I had there is a vacancy there/" he said, when he saw her Curriculum Vitae, he knew that the Steele needed someone like her, and he is not the type to neglect something that will improve his company, she looked at him wild eyed

/"The Steele? like 'the Steele Empire?/" She asked before she suddenly laughed /"no no no no, I am not yet qualified for such company/" she said and he raised an eyebrow

/"Do you look down on yourself that much?/" He asked

/"Not really, but it's said that one needs to know what they are capable off, and I know that I am not capable of the Steele/" she said and he nodded

/"That is still self depreciating/" he said and she smiled /"but I will advice that you still try it out, after all, you never know what you are capable of/" she smiled and tucked a lock of hair behind her ear

/"Well.../" She began

/"Visit the Steele tomorrow, ask for Jack Cage, he is the hiring manager there, I'm pretty sure that if he should see your CV, you will be hired/" he said

/"Please don't rise my hope/" she said

/"Give it a try first/" he said and she nodded

/"Okay then/" she said and gave a faint smile

/"See you some other time then/" he said and walked back to his booth, while she stared after him, she don't know but he gives out a kingly vibe, he must be one of the big shot, she thought

/"What took you so long?/" Jack asked smiling and Micah rolled his eyes

/"I was recruiting/" he said and Jack frowned

/"I asked you to help a damsel in distress and you went recruiting? What is wrong with you?/" He asked

/"Business before pleasure/" Micah said /"and by the way, she will be seeing you tomorrow/" he said and Jack frowned again

/"Why me?/" He asked and Micah stared at him unbelievably

/"What are you?/" He asked and Jack looked confused before he realized what he meant

/"The hiring manager of cause/" he said and Micah shook his head unbelievably /"did she say she is coming?/" He asked and Micah sighed

/"Well, I told her to give it a try and she agreed, so let's wait till tomorrow/" he said

/"What made you suddenly want to recruit her?/" Jack asked

/"Her CV looks nice, she has a nice working experience, the Springtime is her last place of work/" Micah said

/"Springtime? As in LA?/" Jake asked and Micah nodded while sipping his juice /"wow, was she fired?/"

/"Nope, quit herself/" Micah said and Jack stared at him wild eyed

/"Quit Springtime? Does she have a nut loosed in the head?/" He asked and Micah chuckled

/"Said she wanted to try out a new environment/" he said

/"And she quit a job in Springtime only to look for work here? Damn she is not as intelligent as she look/" Jack said shaking his head

/"Hear the full story before you judge/" Micah said

/"What is the full story then?/" He asked

/"She had a job waiting for her here but only to be told at arrival that it's taken/" he said and Jack nodded

/"Oh, that's understandable/" he said and then looked at Micah again /"what's her name?/" He asked and Micah stared at him /"ah, don't tell me you forgot to ask again?/" He asked and then groaned

/"Don't blame me, I don't see it relevant/" Micah said and Jack was shocked

/"Not relevant? Someone's name not relevant, dude you okay?/" He asked and Micah sighed

/"No need to worry too much, you will find out tomorrow/" Micah said and called for the waiter, he paid the bill and the waiter left after thanking him for the tip

/"Let's get back to work, lunch break is over/" he said and Jack shouted

/"For crying put loud, you are the boss, why do you have to keep rushing back when the workers don't/" he said

/"A good leader lead's by example/" Micah said and Jack rolled his eyes

/"Yea right, let's wait till you get a girlfriend to decide/" he said

/"Not happening/" Micah said and slide out of the booth followed by Jack and they went to the backing lot before driving back to the office.
