First Love Memoirs

just a light reflection upon first love, a bittersweet before and aftertaste. please don't look into this writing too much, enjoy as if it's your close friend's nagging and story, which is untold. ………………………… you know, there always this certain person who make you feel all kinds of emotion, for the first time. “first love is unforgettable, so do the last love” what make it different is how you manage those memories… (…) Sighed, she folded the letter and wrapped it up within an envelope, the same plain-looking one as the paper inside. She couldn't help but felt dull about all of this now, and all the dullness reflected on that simple letter. As she closed the envelope she felt her shoulder smothered as if an enormous stone had been rolled down from there. Eyeing the glass jar with thirty three stars within, she suddenly felt relieved and more assured inside. It was over... finally. Blinking her eyes, a new streaks of colour started to popped up inside her mygdala like a little fireworks, as a faint cracking sound of a certain wall could be heard. It was fine even if she could never reach that sunshine, for it's too far and blinding that she couldn't make any step closer. She would just make do with some star and moonlight, so she would never be burned to ashes. Moreover, the star will always show her the right path and guiding her so she won't lost ever again. Hopefully, the sunrise will lead her to her new-found north star, so she could picked up her pace, proceed with confidence along her journey which never ends.
