Back to China

An airplane flew across the sky from England towards China's airport. It was a huge white plane with "British Airway" written on the right side, and the flag of England at the end of the plane. Slowly, it landed on the ground.

Among all the passengers, a female around her 20's came out of the airplane, pulling a black luggage in her left hand. The woman was wearing a light dress with no sleeves. She had a height taller than an average woman and her long legs were elegant just like she was on the inside. Her purple hair was down making it blow around with the breeze. Her eyes were violet lighter than her hair and they shone like jewels.

Just then, a little boy came out and held the young woman's hand. He was probably 4 or 5 years old from his height. He had white hair and a beautiful pair of ocean blue eyes. He was wearing an ordinary shirt and jeans pants.

A tall man came right after the pair of people. He had dark purple eyes and black hair. He was wearing a suit, like a businessman. He was handsome and outstanding. He was taller than the female whose luggage he took from her hand. He curved his lips at her as he held the child's free hand.

Strangely, the child didn't look like any of the adults he was with.

Who's child is he? Well, who knows.

They took a taxi and arrived at a hotel to spend the night.

"We would like to order two rooms." said the black-haired male to the receptionist.

"Alright. Number 306 and 307" she replied with a bright smile. The male was so handsome that the receptionist couldn't stop blushing.

"Let's go, Mei." said the male taking the language to the room.

"Mhm," the female nodded walking with the child. "Can you take care of him?.. I want to be alone" said the woman hesitantly.

"Sure" replied the male with a faint smile and took the child in room 307 and left the woman in room 306.

Mei entered the hotel room. The room was well organized. It had a soft-looking bed along with a wardrobe to put the clothes of the customers. She approached the bed and laid on the bed immediately. She couldn't fall asleep no matter how hard she tried. She was very tired from the journey but the thought of being back in China reminded her of a lot of things she wished to not think much about. She turned around the bed over and over, in vain.

'It's been 11 years since you died.. mom and dad.."' she thought back to her past as she was unable to fall asleep.

Eleven years ago:

It was around 11:50 pm. In a room of normal size, there was a huge bookshelf where there were tons of books. There was a table with a chair where a little girl was studying while waiting for her parents to get home from a party they went to.

The girl had violet hair along with bright purple eyes. The next day was her exam, hence she decided to study at home and skip the party. She was a party lover but she wouldn't let go of her studies for it! It was more important.

The girl's name was Mei. Li Mei An. The Li family was very rich and powerful. She was born with a golden spoon. She had an older brother, but she never saw him since he left the house when she was only 6 years old. She could barely remember his face. All the photos of him were thrown away by her uncle and aunts, and her parents as well. She didn't know why her parents did so.

Mei An was so concentrated reading her math book, which she wasn't fond of, that she couldn't hear the phone ringing. When she heard, she stood up from her study table and went into the living room to pick up the phone.

The living room was vast but it had three sofa's and a table in between for snacks or tea time. There was a huge TV at the center of the wall on the left side for everyone seated on the sofas to be able to watch well.

Mei took the phone.

"Hello. Is this the Li family house?" A strange voice asked.

"Yes. What is it?" Mei replied.

"The madam and sir had a car accident. Please come to the City hospital right now."

As soon as she heard those words, she rushed into the hospital with her legs without even thinking.

She could see all her memories with her parents fading away. Her parents that she loved so much, can't leave her alone, she thought.

'Everything will be ok' she said to herself. Her body trembled in fear but she just ran, faster as possible.

After a long run, she arrived at the hospital. She asked the secretary where her parents were while panting.

"Room number 909" The woman at the duty was surprised by how a young girl came all the way there with bare legs.

She ran the stairs afraid the lift will take too long. After reaching the floor, she searched for the 909 room. Then, she saw her parents. Covered with blood. The doctor came out with disappointment and guilt on his face.

"Is there any one of the Li family here?" he asked with a low voice.

"Me," the girl replied.

She seemed to be around 14 years old. Her beautiful dark violet hair was a mess from running for a long time. Her violet eyes were filled with tears. She was panting still to catch her breath.

"I'm sorry.. it was too late."

Those words pierced through her. She could feel all her happiness fading away. Everything was breaking. Her whole world disappearing. She froze without being able to utter a word.

"Oh my, what's going on here?" Just then, said a female's voice.

It was her aunt. Her father's sister.

"A-aunt.. mom.. and dad.. they..." she couldn't finish her sentence and broke into tears.

The blonde female came and hugged her softly. "Everything will be ok, honey. I'm here for you. And your uncle and I will take care of you, my angel." She said with a small smirk that Mei failed to notice.

Li Mei An nodded softly holding her aunt while crying her eyes out.

-End of flashback-

Mei opened her eyes and closed them again. Recalling what happened eight years ago.
