chapter 9: the court

It has been a few hours since the social work left and I am very anxious about the court Thomas had been trying to calm me down I got told it is tomorrow I can't bare to face that fucking family its full of abusers then again that's probably how they get along so well with other abusers I just can't believe what they have done and I just dont want my younger sisters growing up like that although they have both had it as well before many of times I just dont want it getting worse as they get older but I also dont want them to hate me if the family goes to jail, Thomas eventually gets me calm enough so that we can both go to bed to get up early in the morning for the court case we both go to bed and he warmly and gently cuddles into me with his arms around me I love it when he cuddle me like that it gives me a soft and warm but protected feeling we both drift off to sleep.

The very next morning Thomas wakes up first its 6am he lays cuddled into me a bit longer then he gets up and cleans the house a bit due to he knows I am gonna be very stressed out today he then makes a coffee and sits a drink while he has a fag break he rolls and smokes his fag then he finishes his fag and gets back up he gets his suit out and ready for the court then he has a shower he finishes up in shower and get dressed looking smart in his suit and gets my medication out ready for waken me up he rolls me a fag and makes me a coffee he walks back through to the bedroom taps on me gently and says "good morning beautiful you need to get up and ready for the court I have made you a coffee and a fag" then he kisses my forehead I get up slowly and stressful giving him a kiss on the lips he kisses me back and says "right let's go baby we need to be there by a certain time" I get out of bed and say "I don't want to go baby I am really nervous about it" he responds caringly with "I know baby but I will be right there with you and we have to go" then he gives me a tight hug holding me close, I walk through to the kitchen and get my coffee and smoke my fag then I go and get my clothes out I am wearing a white shirt with a black blazer and a black skirt that goes to my knees with black high heels I go and get a shower Thomas comes through and says "so you want some thing to eat before we go to the court or are you not hungry even though I would rather you ate something" I get out the shower and just look at him "I suppose I could eat before we go only if you eat to though" he goes to the kitchen and makes us both breakfast while I get dressed I then straighten my hair and go through to the dinning table as he Is already sitting there and waiting with food on the table we both eat and make fags for going with then we have one before we leave we are both ready to go and we leave the house he takes my hand and holds it tightly and says "you have got this baby" we get to the bus stop and wait for the bus the bus finally arrives and we get it on the bus gets to the court as we get off he cuddles into me and  says "right let's do this beautiful" we hold hands and walk into the court and wait to be called in I see that fucking family and my mum comes up and says "you better watch yourself after this" I reply with "I'm gonna make sure you and that fat controller get the jail so you can have fun there" she just gives me a dirty look and walks away as that fat fucking controller is staring at me Thomas gives him a dirty look we both turn around and walk away we then get called on we walk in to the court room and we all stand up waiting for the judge to get into the court room the judge finally comes out and we all take our seats Thomas sits next to me and my lawyer we are sitting across from the slag of a mother and the fat fucking controller with their lawyer I hate them so fucking much  I plan to get them the jail the judge says "I have your statement Julie but if you want to say anything else about it you can" I respond with "no I have nothing else to say just what is in that statement" my mum takes the stance first and says "yes my children have had a hard life yes they have been abused on numerous occasions but I never meant for any of that to  happen" then they get the fat controller up and he admits to abusing me next up it is my dad he starts by saying " julie used to come to my house every weekend since she was sixteen years old at first we nerve knew I was her dad but she use to come to my house covered in bruises from a mixture of her ex boyfriend and her mum and grandad I did not enjoy seeing her in that state she was always shy so she would never speak up about it all she was always to scared to speak up about it" my dad then comes off the stance and takes his seat then the judge says "I will now make my decision "
