Chapter 17: divorce

At the warehouse, a man was tied on a chair, and the bodyguards were holding guns

Pete walked towards the man, "Inspector Kim, or should I call you Charlie?" He grabbed the man's hair

The inspector was in his early 30s.

"I'm sorry, Mr Lucifer. I will never betray you again,please let me go." The inspector begged in fear

"I will let you go, but if you tell me where I can find Shadow." He brought out his pistol and pointed at the man's head.

He just want to find Shadow because he is the answer,he is looking for. Shadow is that black spirit.

"I don't know, but you can find some information from alex." the inspector said in feared

"Well... thanks for giving us the information. Yai,kill him. " he turned around and left

"Mr Lucifer, please let me go." The Man continue begging in fear

Yai shoots the man to death

The mansion was so big,it's tightly guided by bodyguard and surveillance cameras. The bodyguards are well trained. The mansion was so beautiful,with beautiful scenery.

Pete sat on the sofa,crossed-legged.

"Everything is ready,we are meeting him at his warehouse." Yai reported

"Ok, and check Yihwa whereabouts for me," Pete replied

A young lady walked into the living room

She smiled and placed a coffee on the centre table "Pete here is your coffee. Oh, what are you guys planning?" She asked

"Yai, give her the files." he instructed his secretary

Apart from Daniel (Wayy),Yai is the person that Pete trusted the most.

"Madam,please sign on these papers." He placed the papers on the centre table in front of her

She opened the file,but she never expected to see this "divorce paper."

She asked in panic

"Sign it now." Pete said,without a trace of smile on his face

"How can you do this to me?" She asked in tears

He smirked. "Do you think I don't know who caused my accident."

Her soul left her body for a second. "You know everything? You recovered your memories?"

"Pink,do you think I really lost my memory? now you have two options. One,you can stay with me, but I will destroy your family. I will make your family like they have never existed before in this world. Two,sign the divorce paper and leave in peace."

He can only protect Yihwa when she stays away from him,and he knows that she won't stay away,that's why he pretended to have a memory lost.

She picked the pen and signed the paper "you will remember this day Pete" then she stood up

"Yai, see her off." he instructed

They went to alex werehouse. Mr Alex waited for them at the warehouse with his ten bodyguards.

Today, he is going to buy guns and other weapons from them

"Nice to meet you, Mr Alex." Daniel extended his hand for Alex to shake

"Nice to meet you also. Where are the products?" He went directly to the business

"In the truck. Yai opened it for him to see." The truck was parked beside them because they parked it inside the warehouse.

Suddenly, when Yai opened the truck,many Pete's bodyguards holding guns came out of nowhere. It seems like they are hidden in the warehouse. They hide between the sacks

They started shooting Alex people. In a blink of eye,all Alex people are shot to death,only Mr Alex remains

"Tie him and throw him inside the truck," Daniel ordered

"You traitors. " Mr Alex shouted

At the Eagle gang group werehouse

Alex was tied on the chair. He fainted because of pain and torture. They cut his left hand middle finger because he refused to give them any information.

"Stop. He can die." Daniel ordered Yai to stop punching Alex

He asked one of the bodyguards to pour water on Alex

He wakes up and starts trembling in fear

"Now tell us where Shadow is." Said by Daniel

"Only one person that knows where Shadow is, his name is "Black fox" he lived in Italy but I don't know his exact address and I don't know any information about him,apart from this. We only received orders from him through video calls,and he never showed his face because he always had masks." he said while panting heavily

"Oh shit," Pete angrily punched the wall

"Kill him." Daniel ordered

Yai brings out his sharp knife and cuts Alex throat

"Let's stop here. When it's the right time,he will reveal himself," Daniel whispered to Pete and then patted Pete shoulder

3 years ago,the accident of former Mr. Lucifer was not a normal accident because someone put explosive in Mr Lucifer private jet. Pete was suspecting Shadow.

At the UK,Yihwa heard someone knocking on her door

She opened the door but she was shocked

"Pete..." She called the name in shock
