"So what lurks inside the forest?" Stell asked.
"Do you really want to know?" Samu chuckled. "You might not be able to sleep well tonight if I or somebody else were to tell you."
Alana frowned. "Just go on and tell us okay? Lee's going in the forest tomorrow, but we don't know what else is in there. The earth's not going to swallow people randomly right?"
"Those who trespass the mountains without permission are swallowed," Samu said.
"What? That's not real," Stell argued.
Once most of the townspeople were gone and only their entire class was left save for Sammi and some other young people, it was when they started having questions. It wasn't surprising for Emma that this was the part where they told spooky stories.
"We used to tell Samu when he was a kid so he wouldn't run into the forest. Lots of kids get endangered when they do," Sammi spoke up to their surprise.
"So there's nothing really inside of it?" Emma asked.
