When Emma glanced over her shoulders, Solar was still around and talking with Marci and Alana. He claimed to have grown a lot of interest in their particular event that they were going to do, but somehow it felt like he was just looking around.
"Are you sure?" Stell looked up at her with a surprised expression. "Do you want Samu to go with you? Anybody else?"
"Yes, I can handle it, and I think I can do it by myself," Emma reassured her.
The moment she left the main hall, Emma let out a breath of relief. She did not mind skipping lunch break, but she needed to head to Innstad quickly and visit the concert hall and ensure that the venue was prepared.
This was where the perks of having her husband with her this week happened to be.
Emma didn't want to disturb him, but she also wanted to see him. And so after a quick call and leaving the academy, she would see Therius waiting for her on the travs.
