Introductions Are In Order

(Timeline wise it is a couple of months before the Vytal Festival and the Fall of Beacon Academy.)

Entry 116:

Sienna Khan POV: (Current White Fang Leader)

"Please repeat yourself. I don't think I heard you correctly. The desert of Menagerie has turned into a lush garden?" I ask the wolf faunus in front of me as he trembles.

"Yes, Leader, the desert has been turned into a lush and endless et of plains and forests with what looks like a large citadel and city in the center."

I simply sigh as I look at the footage from yesterday. A bright flash lit up the night, and then where there were once hordes of Grimm, there is now none and a large pristine silver city has appeared.

I considered the fact that someone managed to get the entire population of Kuo Kuana under an illusion, but upon inspection, the forest and plains are too real. I have had my men scout out the outskirts of the new Silver City, but it seems empty.

Yet before I can order an additional expedition, another one of my guards rushes in and says, "Leader Sienna, I have news!" I beckon him to speak as he says, "A person has been found in the city or rather a small group of people of about six people."

I then ask, "Were you discovered?" He nods his head, saying fearfully, "My lady, he somehow saw us from the top of the Citadel as our scouts, when looking through their telescopes, saw that he was looking directly at them from hundreds of feet in the air."

"What were they doing?" I ask as he says, "My lady, I don't know how to tell you this, but they were seemingly relaxing and having a tea party."

I simply sigh in frustration, but before I can say anything, I hear a voice in my mind, and it is simultaneously powerful and welcoming.

"I know you have seen me and my people, so I invite you and your entourage to the city, and I hope you all arrive with an open mind."

As the presence disappears, I remembered to breathe as the mere presence of his voice was enough to silence the area.

I then state, "Organize a coalition of the White Fang. We will go meet our new neighbors and discover whether or not they seek to harm our bastion, but under no circumstances are they to ever attack them."

The men and women then leave to gather their families as I sit on my throne, but I am hesitant to even sit on it for a moment.

Whoever that was has made me doubt myself by just hearing his voice, and that is no semblance that was pure might incarnate. In all honesty, I wish to hear it again, as it was simultaneously beautiful and overpowering.

According to the reports, two of the six were honest and were considered fox Faunus, yet one had nine tails and looked extremely beautiful from the photos we were able to take, as some of my men fell in love at first sight.

I just hope Adam isn't doing anything stupid in Vale right now as I do not need more variables as the Faunus are already considered second-class citizens or worse slaves, and I do not need that extremist making things worse.

Salem POV:

Something has changed as I feel the world being more vibrant than before, as even in the land of darkness, I can feel the light begin to pull at the dark, and while the feeling is similar to the God Of Light, it feels more controlled and mighty.

The gods could not have returned as I have not gathered all the relics yet, but I feel uneasy as I look to Arthur Watts and state, "Watts, I need you to head to Menagrie as I feel a great change has occurred." Watts looks skeptical as he asks, "What have you sensed, my lady?"

"I sense a presence I haven't felt for a long time, and that is the feeling of the light's return, and it is originating from that Island, and I want you to find out what has changed and report back to me."

He then bows and leaves to head to Menagerie, and as I try to use my seeker Grimm to spy on the island, I see nothing but a white light. As I try to look further, I hear a voice, "I would suggest you cease your activity, which has the time has not come yet to reveal the surprise."

Simply hearing the voice almost causes me to kneel as even the gods that were present here before would only be able to do that if I was in their presence as I shout out, "Who are you! You are not the god of light!" He then laughs at my confusion.

"Ah yes, the twin gods of creation and destruction of light and dark or, as I like to call them, absolute childish buffoons, and while I will freely admit I am not the God of Light, you know, I am something far more."

I then take in every word he says as he continues, "The universe is so vast, Salem. Did you really believe that those two were the only gods in existence?"

The very thought sends chills down my spine as we could not deal with two of them, and now this new God arrives and says there are more of them!

"Do not worry. I am not like those Gods before as I fully believe in the potential of humanity, but that does not relieve you of your crimes against the world."

"Now, I would suggest you sit in that castle of yours hidden away in the dark until I come to find you, but I will leave you a gift from Anakim God Of Creation."

The room is then lit up with a prismatic light as I scream and Agony as I feel my very essence being shifted. After a few minutes, I reopen my eyes and look to the windows of my throne room and see something I have not seen in a long time.

My form has returned to before I jumped into the Grimm pool, and when I cut myself, I still regenerate as I growl out, "WHY! Why do you torment me!"

"I am not a sadistic god, but I can't have you killing yourself before your punishment, and I've simply returned your human form so that you may feel the full weight of your sins. I hope your mind survives."

Now that he mentions it now that the darkness essence is gone, I begin to feel the full weight of everything I've done and the thousands upon millions of lives I've taken, all in the hopes that the gods may return and end my curse of immortality.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" I scream out in pain as the memories of every person killed by the Grimm I controlled are sent to me as I writhe on the ground, fully feeling their pain.

I am sorry.

Linus Ozias POV:

As I leave my view of the Witch, Yasaka asks me, "Are you alright, my angel?" I smile and say, "Yes, I am all right, my precious fox, as I am simply not enjoying doling out punishment."

She nods and says, "I assume you just punished Salem or at least began her punishment?" I nod as she says, "I agree with your actions, my angel, but know that she mostly did it out of grief, betrayal, and corrupted views of life and death."

I understand what she is saying, but a woman given immortality and told to understand life and death so that she may die then decides to go against the Gods who gave them all their magic.

She is the reason the world is like this, divided and broken. It was Salem that incited many of the world conflicts in addition to the creation of other forms of Grimm that kill hundreds by the day.

While it was confirmed that her jumping into the Grimm pool corrupted her personality to the core, her decisions still led to the world's current state of affairs.

While her desire to return her loved one to life is admirable, she hoodwinked the gods and expected it to go well.

Yet she refuses to admit the fact that her own actions caused this world's degradation and seeks to end all of Humanity by summoning the gods back to this world.

This world is broken, and I am not referring to the broken moon as not only is Humanity killing each other, but they are also killing the faunus, and the Grimm are killing the humans and the faunus.

It is a never-ending cycle of death that throttles this world's potential, and by doing so, Salem has essentially proven those childish idiots correct that Humanity cannot unite, as all it takes is the action of one to ruin a world.

In my opinion, Salem does this on purpose so that she may be wiped out along with Humanity in the form of mass suicide. So her punishment will not be light along with Her counsel as I know she is sending her resident scientist at the Watts to investigate.

I could get that man onto my side as he's only with Salem out of fear and the desire to be recognized for his genius. In this world as well, their technology is decently advanced. Even my original world had more varied technology.

Elemental dust in this world is simply the remnants of what magic remained on this world that interacted with the environment to form that finite resource, which explains why it doesn't work once you leave the planet, as it is innately connected to this world's energy.

This will require some work, to say the least, as I can see the Gods of Light and Dark watching me but are barred from this world until the relics are brought together.

If I were to measure their power, it would be around the level of a second-generation God like Apollo. The only reason they are able to use their power so freely is because this world's rules are so lenient, and there is no defined afterlife.

Well, it looks like I have more work to do.

But for now, I debate the fate of Salem, wondering if I should just end her meaningless existence along with her council or grant her some form of mercy.

But it seems like my invitation was accepted as I see a group of White Fang outside of my city, and I head to welcome them.

I will improve this world and show those two idiots that Humanity can unite given the right push.
