When I woke up in another dimension, surrounded by nothingness and a ROB. I did not know I would be offered to quest around the multiverse to fix different problems or gain power. But we both knew the real reason; it was more than simply questing across the multiverse. It was my journey to become more and find my purpose. Entry 15:
Linus Ozias POV:
"Well, my plans are proceeding accordingly," I think as Alexandria walks through her base. Oh, she's even going to talk to Contessa even better.
" To be honest, my plan feels like I'm Valentine from the Kingsmen movies," I say as I enter my house.
To explain more, I fully expected Alexandria to retreat to the cauldron base, seeing the possibility of a timeline change in her path, and that is what I was hoping for.
Now, I have self-replicating nanobots scanning their entire base, and they can't even be seen or observed.
Even though this may bring more heat on me from Cauldron, it's necessary because now I have nanobots within most of their members, excluding Doormaker and Eidolon.
The former because I haven't found him yet, and the latter because he most likely has defenses around anything entering his body, but he's under constant watch.
This is a small part of the plan, with it all ending with simultaneous strikes on each bringer, including Scion.
" Now I feel like a bond villain right now, the one that will be successful if I don't mess this up. No pressure", I think to myself.
But that is for the future. For now, I also have to focus on setting up the company. I have an official office building within the commercial district and possible property locations for my hospital, and I need to renovate them.
I call Chloe on my wristwatch for a status update, which she answers, not even on the first dial.
" Hello, sir. I assume you're calling for a status," Chloe says.
"You would be correct, Chloe. How goes the progress in renovating and finding new employees?" I ask in a questioning tone.
"It's going on quite well as we have found many possible members of the company that are being vetted right now," Chloe says while I imagine her reading all of this information off a clipboard.
"What about the investors? Have they asked for any other demands besides their usual pay cuts and percentages?" I ask seriously, as investors are sometimes more fickle than the lottery.
"There have been no changes in what the investors have already demanded in their contracts, but I would recommend creating some household items or games," Chloe says while I nod in agreement.
I had already planned on creating more advanced games other than the original apps, with those apps still raking in a ton of money. Dread is constantly updating the game with the help of different subset AIs, which are more comparable to VIs.
Dread will have less work to do once we can establish our gaming and entertainment company, as we'll have actual people working on the games, and he will only have to fix the bugs and make small changes.
I then confirm to Chloe that I already have plans in the works and hang up.
Earth Bet is not as technological advanced as it should be because a lot of technological progress was stalled due to the presence of superhumans.
And let's not mention that Japan is unlivable due to end-bringer attacks, so many Japanese companies either went under or disbanded.
I would likely end up recreating the PlayStation and simply renaming it the Oz station. Due to the advancements of the early 2000s, the stuff I'm sending out is within the technological range.
Introducing this world to the wonders of good video games like God of War or Pokemon would be pretty interesting.
But again, thoughts for another time, and I can send the requests to Dread for him to design, as I need to keep inventing and innovating. As well as creating a sting-based weapon to deal with end-bringers.
Sting is another word for dimensional-based shenanigans, and to do that, I will likely have to study the powers of a specific para-human, the girl Flechette.
According to my known timeline, if the butterfly effect has yet to mess it up, she will trigger this month if she already has her powers, essentially able to empower objects with physics-defying properties.
I will most likely send some drones to New York City, where she will become a vigilante soon enough, and even then, I know her civilian identity, and they can constantly scan her using our abilities to replicate, hopefully.
Proceeding to my lab, I want to recreate the extremis Serum created by Maya Hansen, as seen in Iron Man 3, which gives you basic fire creation abilities and a ridiculous healing factor whose only weakness is either being atomized or your head cut off.
Also, the fire creation, precisely if controlled, will leave me indistinguishable from regular people.
The process is less creating the serum and more perfecting it, as my knowledge gives me only how she made it and how she expanded on it before Aldrich got his hands on it.
But due to my Kryptonian-enhanced brain and the super soldier serum, my thought processes are closer to that of a magus from fate, as I can think hundreds of times faster and more effectively than regular humans.
" Wow, I'm already thinking in terms of enhanced regular humans, but I guess it comes with the territory of becoming a mad scientist," I say as I tinker away.
For reference, Superman can create literal universes with his intellect and tech even without becoming his Superman 1 million form, as seen in All-Star Superman, as well as figuring out impossible questions.
And even at not even 10% of that brain capacity, I'm already thinking of different ideas that could probably destroy the planet and rejuvenate it.
"Taking that thought later," I think that rejuvenating the bay and the planet itself will be a necessary step to market myself to the public.
I return my attention to creating the serum, which, after not even 4 hours, I've already improved the original serum. Alien technology for the win. And now to test it on myself again.
I drink the vial I've already copied in my mind as this is the only dosage I will create, as I don't want a bunch of regenerating fire-breathing people running around.
The change begins, and I see you as if a fire is running through my veins, and my body heat rises to over 500 degrees and keeps going, forcing Dread to activate the countermeasures I set up, dousing me.
The cycle continues for around three more hours, and the night has already fallen by the time the serum is finished changing me.
I exit the room I was in, which is part of the lab meant for experimentation on the human form. I hope to gain more tech trees related to research management and genetics like Subnautica or Thalassophobia, the video game.
I then attempt to focus the heat within, and I can see the veins glowing orange as my right hand grows hotter and hotter, and I soon melt the desk I have my hand on.
"Well, this is a definite improvement. Now I just have to focus on reining in the heat so that my body temperature appears normal," I say after having the androids pick up the remains at the desk.
To test the regeneration factor, I take a nearby sharp object, most likely a scalpel, and make a tiny cut on my hand, which heals in a few seconds. I stopped there because I did not want to be chopping off my body parts.
"Now, to focus on other pursuits," I think to myself.
I'm going into security mode hard as I've probably attracted the attention of the Cauldron, so I will have to get some defenses.
Alexandria has already been taken care of, as the nanobots will spread across their system and allow me to control her mentally, similar to what Skitter did when she used her bugs to control Alexandria.
Dr. Mother is an average human, so she can be dealt with in various ways, even if she is highly intelligent.
Numberman is a threat with his ability to predict and use numbers to his advantage, so he is entirely open to surprise attacks.
Contessa has the path to victory, which is useless against me, and similarly to Dr. Mother, she is average even though she has access to Doormaker portals.
Hero, by this time, is dead. So that is one less threat gone, and Eidolon is essentially a walking vegetable as he unknowingly powers the end bringers to be his worthy opponents.
Coil, can be dealt with at any time with a mere thought as the nano bomb within his brain hasn't been removed, so he hasn't noticed it, and by the time he splits the timeline, the bomb will still be there.
Panacea and Glory Girl have not triggered yet, and while shadow stalker has triggered, she is inconsequential even if she thinks she isn't.
I look over my various pictures and documents, lining the walls with multiple news clippings and other reports that my information network has collected, and my plans begin to form.
" This is all for a brighter tomorrow," I tell myself, but you know what they say: the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
