"Excuse me Charlotte, but I believe you should start getting ready." She said as she made her way towards where I was.

She helped me up and I placed the box under the bed. Then I started to follow her into the closet.

She told me to close my eyes as she helped me into the dress. Once it was completely on my body she said, "Now you shall open them." with a huge smile on her delicate face.

"This is beautiful, I didn't think my body could look like this." I said with my jaw slightly down, in awe of the dress.

It was a simple yet elegant dress. It showed off my most prized features. My hips and breasts were going to be on full display for the world to see at this ball. Around my waist was a few simple golden leaves.

I couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious in this dress. Harper has always told me I had a great body, and I shouldn't hide it. However I still felt that I looked bad.

"Quit doubting yourself in your head, Charlotte. You look amazing!" Izzy said as she straitied the small train behind the dress.

"That reminds me of what my best friend back at my palace would say." I said while laughing. "Oh my, I almost forgot!" She said in a panic voice.

She left the closet and returned a few moments later with another box in her hands. "I hope that isn't another surprise for me." I said while rolling my eyes.

"You will love this one, Lord James brought this by when you were in a dazed state looking through that box, the King gave you." I was shocked by her words. I didn't even realize how long I had been sitting there flipping through pictures.

She opened the box, and to my surprise it was a golden leaf crown. It matched the leaves that hung around my waste. "Its stunning". I said while sitting down holding the small crown in my hands.

After finishing my hair she placed the small crown on top of my head. "You look like a true queen." She said while whispering into my ear. I smiled as a knock sounded at the door.

"Now who could this be?" She said while pulling away from me and started to make her way towards the door. "Oh your grace, I just finished getting her ready."

"Splendid! We shall be off then?" I knew that voice anywhere, it was the Kings.

I slowly made my way out of the closet to find the King standing by the window while smiling down upon the ground below. "I am ready for the ball. Are you supposed to be my escort to the ballroom?"

I asked, in a calm manner. "Yes indeed, Oh my you look just like her." He said while taking my arm into his. "Do you mean my mother?" I asked as we walked out of the door, entering the hallway.

"Yes." He said, never taking his eyes off the ceiling. "How do you know my mother?" I asked

"It's a long story. However I will explain everything tomorrow during tea time. That is if you want to join me?" He asked with his eyes now on me.

The man walking me down the hallway was different then the one I met earlier. He was kind and gentle, I hate that he is a hateful drunk.

"If you knew my mother, I can tell you were quite fond of her. Why would you say such things earlier?" I asked while stopping in the middle of the hallway.

At first he paid my question little attention as he continued to walk. However he stopped and turned me towards him. "Listen Charlotte, I say a lot of things I don't mean while drunk. I hate myself for ever speaking bad about your mother."

Then he started to walk us down a few more hallways until we're in front of two large golden doors.
