The game starts

Tokyo 2030, past midnight.

A man in his early thirties was passing through a dark and narrow street.

He was pretty handsome.

His height was around 176 centimeters. Also, he had a good muscle build that was pretty noticeable, but his short dark hair with white fibers through it was without a doubt the most striking.

As he was walking in the dark, the lights lightened up and were pointing in his direction.

Not long after, masked people surrounded him.

There were more than thirty men.

Their masks were pretty much the same, a scary dark face with a red mouth.

They all were holding black metal rods.

' Are they filming some film scenery?' The man thought.

Then they began to move and made way a man entered the circle they made. Only one look and one can say that he was different. That was because of his mask with red horns.

" Hello Jin Takumu, I am called Red devil, and this is my Red squad. Nice to meet you." The man spoke.

" Who are you? How do you know me?" Jin looked in at the man called Red devil, ready to start a fight.

" It's not just your name that I know, I also know that you are a good fighter, but that's not important now. Please come with me."

" No thanks."

"Mr.Jin, please come with me..."

" Men, fuck off." Jin did not even let him finish his sentence.

" Catch him!" The Red devil ordered, and the Red squad attacked.

Jin did not wait and attacked too. He landed the first hit, that person immediately fell. The punch was so hard that his mask broke.

He was fighting quite well and defeated more than half of the Red squad until one moment.

"BAM" Was all that he heard before he felt pain in his back and fell to the ground, and was slowly losing consciousness while watching how they were taking him in a car.

"Ahhhh!" Jin was slowly gaining consciousness, and his vision was still blurred.

After a few minutes, he gained consciousness. The only thing that he was able to realize was that he was underground.

He was trapped, trapped in a room that got only one way that was leading ahead.

It was so dark that Jin could barely see his finger if he puts it in front of himself.

He was examining his body when he noticed a watch on his right hand.

It was a smartwatch.

Jin tried to turn it on, but it did not show any sign that, was working.

Suddenly the watch turned on and lightened the room.

A deep voice broke the silence in the room.

" Welcome, players! I am the bringer of the death, or you can call me Chronos." The deep voice of the Chronos was ranging in the empty room.

" This place is located more than one mile underground. In front of you, there is a way. This way is the beginning of a massive maze. To your right, in the corner of the room, there is a rucksack. Inside this rucksack, you have one assault rifle, gun, and billets for them." As the voice was speaking, Jin ran to the bag and opened it.

" You also have three grenades, three smoke bombs, and three flash bombs. Of course, you can use them to destroy parts of the maze but use them smartly. There are one thousand of you in this maze, and only one can get out of here alive. Use the weapons inside the rucksack and kill each other."

The voice of Chronos and his words were ranging in Jin's head.

" There are other players next to your room. You got twenty-four hours to find and kill one person. If you refuse to kill when the time is up, the smartwatch will send you shock waves, and your heart will stop."

" You also got a bottle of water and food in the rucksack. There are rooms in the maze where you can get new resources. Those rooms are called Trading rooms!"

" Now, let the game begin!" As Chronos announced the beginning of the game, the watch turned off.

He then tried to turn it on, but this time the watch turned on.

On it appeared a timer, his body temperature, pulse, heart beating, and the number one thousand above the timer also with the largest size.

Jin took out all the weapons from his rucksack and placed them on the ground.

" Hmm... Automat Kalasnikov 1947(Ak-47) and Desert eagle not bad."

Jin was an ex-gang leader. His gang was big, so they very often were coming in contact with weapons.

What Chronos did not mention was the uniform.

He had a black uniform in his backpack. Jin put it on and only then noticed that the uniform was very comfortable and that there were unique holders where he could put his weapon.

He put the rifle on his back, the bombs on his chest. The holder for the gun was above his pockets, just like in a policeman.

As he was placing his rucksack on his back, he heard shots near him.

Jin immediately took his gun and lay on the ground.

After some time, the shots stopped. Those were shots from an assault rifle.

When the shots stopped, his watch turned on. When Jin looked at the smartwatch, he froze.

The number one thousand was now nine hundred and ninety-nine.

Then he realized that the number showed how many people were alive.

As he was still in shock, his time was running out. He wasted more than four hours lying on the ground before he came to himself.

" Damn!" Jin slapped himself. His cheeks immediately turned red.

Then he entered the dark maze. He was wandering through the maze for a few hours when he came across another corner.

' Damn, this can not continue like this. Although I do not want to kill, to survive, I must kill.'

He took out everything from his rucksack and placed them on the ground. Then he passed the corner.

When he came to another corner, he placed his empty bag on the ground.

' Luckily, I did not leave my old clothes.' Jin ripped his old shirt and took a long thread but not too thin.

He placed the grenade next to the bag. The grenade was noticeable even in the darkness.

He then wrapped the pull ring of the grenade with the thread and moved back to the corner where he placed his food, water, and spare bullets.

When he came to the corner where he placed his resources, he did not stop.

He just dropped the thread and continued to move forward to the next corner, where he placed another grenade and did the same like on the first one.

When he returned to the corner where his resources were, he took his gun and shot four bullets in different directions.

Then he sat on the ground and leaned on the wall.

' I placed two traps and shot four bullets as bait.

Now, if someone is passing, he will not hesitate to take the grenade.

Then, I have to pull the thread, and they will go kaboom.'

"Now, let the fishing begin!" Jin said with a scary smile on his face.
