Half Asleep

He typed something on the keyboard, and a map appeared on the screen. It showed their town, along with all the surrounding areas. Raquil clicked on one of the spots marked with a red dot. It was near a large tree growing along the edge of the riverbank.

"That's where the first tornado appeared." Raquil said. "And that's the location where it first destroyed the place. Do you know what this means?"

"It's a tornado!" A woman shouted excitedly. "Can you get rid of it?"

Raquil shook his head. "No. Tornadoes are powerful, unpredictable storms. We cannot predict where or when they will strike next. All we know is where the tornadoes are right now."

A young boy leaned forward eagerly. "Could you send another tornado to destroy it?"

Raquil smirked at the kid for a second before speaking. "Well, we don't know where the twister went after it destroyed your home. And even if we did, there's only so many tornadoes we can see at once."
