2. ENVIOUS STARES

I have everything that I wanted in this place. Lahat ng maaring magustuhan ng isang babae.

Not knowing that the stares they're giving me as I pass by was full of envy, I politely smiled at them thinking they were my friend.

"Queen nakahanda na po ang inyong paliguan," pagbibigay alam sa akin ng aking personal butler. Whenever we are at the Grand Palace we use our home language as no one in this Palace used it aside from the Royal Family and the Grand Butler. Apart from us, our people used another dialect.

Pumunta na ako sa aking personal bathroom. Sa wakas. Matatanggal ko na rin ang maskarang nakasuot sa aking mukha. I'm not wearing any make up as it will not be shown anyway. I feel free and at the same time, I feel safe.

Ang nakakakita lang naman ng mukha ko ay ang aking butler at ang mga magulang ko at ilang mga piling tao. Sila lang ang pwedeng lumapit sa akin. Yung butler ko ang lagi kong kasama mula pagkabata hanggang pagkalaki siya rin ang dating butler ng King kaya pinagkakatiwalaan ko siya.

"Butler Lee pwede mo ba akong samahan sa Mason Store?"

Nasa Mason Store na lahat ng kailangan ko kaya hindi ko na kailangang pumunta sa isang public mall. Mason Store houses all the expensive things that are only affordable for nobles. Eventhough it is available for nobles, the items that they bought are all delivered to them. The system for buying and selling are thru bidding that happens every 12th and 24th of the month

The Mason Store building itself is still a mystery to them. The income that we got here are saved for the continuous operation of the place and the taxes collected are used to support the needs of the People. In that way, everyone will be treated equally.

Some of the items here are not for sale tho, they are for the Royal Family's consumption. Especially the rare items. Ang tanging may access lang sa store na ito ay ako at ang mga magulang ko. Besides kaming tatlo lang din ang nakakaalam at si Butler Lee kung nasaan ang lugar na ito. It is an underground store afterall, ipinatayo sa gitna ng gubat at isa lang ang way para makapasok sa lugar na ito, helicopter. At ang nagmamanage ng lugar nito? Sampung tao lang at lahat yun kasing edad ko lang at kasama kong lumaki.

The people who house this place are all well trained and the few ones who knows who I am.
