Underlying Threat

After demonstrating the futility of trying to bind him by placing said bindings into his Item Box, Andrew explained his circumstances and provided a general overview of his abilities to Yuna, Lulu, Wakka, and Kimahri. It was understandably difficult for them to accept his story at face value, but after witnessing the worlds he spoke of firsthand, they had little choice but to accept that at least some of what he said was true.

"So, what brings you to our world?" asked Lulu, convinced of Andrew's origins but suspicious of his motivations.

"I have three objectives," replied Andrew, holding up three fingers as he counted, "First, I intend to help bring about the Eternal Calm. Secondly, I wish to relocate some, if not all, Al Bhed to my original world. Lastly, once the Eternal Calm has been achieved, I will select proxies to facilitate trade and friendly relations between this world, Spira, and the other worlds I've linked."

"Eternal Calm..." muttered Yuna, her gaze unfocused on a wistful look on her face as she asked, "Is such a thing truly possible...?"

"You'll understand once you learn Sin's true origin and purpose," replied Andrew. "For now, you should just continue your journey as planned. I'll follow and support you as one of your Guardians."

Contrasting the fairly grim looks on everyone else's faces, Yuna smiled radiantly and said, "I'd like that..." in a faint tone, her green and blue eyes staring deep into Andrew's.

Since the only person who could decide her Guardians was Yuna herself, Lulu could only exhale an exasperated sigh while Wakka scratched his head. Kimahri also didn't seem particularly pleased, but he didn't say anything and just continued to watch the proceedings with crossed arms.

"Then, I should be going," said Yuna, rising to her feet as she explained, "Today is the day I am set to enter the Cloister of Trials. If the Fayth hear my prayers and deem me worthy, I shall become a Summoner, just like my father before me..."

Raising her gaze as Andrew stood, Yuna narrowed her eyes and asked, "Will you...come with me?"

"I might have to hop over to one of the other worlds while we're waiting, but I can see you there and be present when you return," replied Andrew. Then, having already explained and demonstrated his chat function, he smiled and added, "Of course, if you send me a direct message, I'll come over, even if it's in the middle of your trial."

"How reliable," mused Yuna. Then, while Wakka stayed back to help his Blitzball team practice and prepare for their upcoming tournament, she, Andrew, Lulu, and Kimahri made their way into Besaid Temple, receiving permission from the head monk to enter the chamber beyond, riding an elevator down to the underground where her trial awaited...

"See? I knew you'd be able to make time," teased Y'sthola, appearing next to Andrew after the two had agreed to meet at the penthouse.

"Who was it that said I had to take responsibility for awakening her body to sexual gratification...?" countered Andrew, adopting a cheeky smile as Y'shtola narrowed her icy blue eyes.

"Speaking of responsibility..." muttered Y'sthola, her expression becoming serious as she warned, "I'm ovulating today. You should avoid cumming in me too much."

Though he noticed that Y'shtola had said 'too much' rather than 'not at all,' Andrew didn't say anything. He was the one that had ingrained the pleasures of a creampie deep inside of her, so if he didn't paint her insides at least once, she would be in a dour mood, unable to focus.

"Wait," said Y'shtola, stopping Andrew just as he snaked his hands around her, firmly squeezing her bottom.

"What's up...?" Andrew asked, raising his brows with a hint of confusion.

"I prepared something. Come with me..." said Y'shtola, separating from Andrew and leading the way through the penthouse until they reached the showroom with the self-serve bar and stage. Unfortunately, Y'shtola had no intention of giving him a show–at least not atop the stage or using the stripper pole. Instead, she guided him to a small room covered in red carpet, containing a semi-circular lounge, a large television screen, and a jukebox-like device with multiple microphones hanging over it.

"You want to do karaoke...?" asked Andrew, surprised since Y'shtola's only real hobbies were studying and research.

"No," replied Y'sthola, half-turning to stare at Andrew with narrowed eyes as she practically purred, "I just want to christen this room before another of your women beat me to it..."

"Hooo?" responded Andrew, raising his brows even higher as he crossed his arms and asked, "You finally accepted that you're my woman?"

"Indeed. Don't make me regret it..." replied Y'sthola, subsequently turning around and opening her Equipment Menu. She could have given Andrew a strip tease, but it seemed like a nuisance, and she was too horny to delay things more than a few minutes.

Seeing Y'shtola's usual, fairly modest outfit suddenly replaced by a black bunny suit, sans the tail and ears, Andrew's eyes widened. The garment was a bustier-style leotard that exposed her back and shoulders. A white collar adorned her neck, further accented by a black bowtie, white cuffs, transparent black stockings, and black heels. It was similar to the Bunny Chief outfit worn by high-ranking staff/associates at the Manderville Gold Saucer but had been modified and perfectly tailored to fit Y'sthola's lithe and athletic frame.

"You tell me it's a dangerous day and then whip out something like this...?" questioned Andrew, grinning with a wolfish gleam in his eyes despite his mild incredulity.

"Am I to blame for your lack of sense and restraint...?" countered Y'shtola, narrowing her eyes in amusement.

Catching Y'sthola a little off guard, Andrew replied, "Definitely. I mean, have you seen yourself in a mirror...?"

Though only briefly, Y'shtola's ears twitched in response to Andrew's complimentary remark. Such flowery remarks used to annoy her, and still did in most circumstances, but when they came from Andrew...they made more than just her ears twitch...

Seeing Andrew materialize out of thin air outside the Chamber of the Fayth that Yuna was praying in, Lulu narrowed her eyes and remarked, "Didn't you say you would only be gone an hour or two? It must have been half a day since then."

"I'm responsible for overseeing trade and migration between multiple worlds. Unexpected events that require my attention happen," excused Andrew, telling the truth but conveniently glossing over the fact that the 'incident' this time was a carnivorous cat girl in heat. Miqo'te apparently had an 'active cycle' every 2-3 months, and since Y'sthola had been a virgin until recently, she had neither the experience nor desire to suppress her animalistic urges.

"Well, lucky for you, Yuna has yet to come out..." muttered Lulu, directing a worried gaze toward the metallic, ornate, shield-like barrier preventing people from entering while the chamber was in use.

"No need to worry," said Andrew, smiling confidently as he kicked back and relaxed with his hands behind his head, eyes closed as he asserted, "It will probably take another ten to twelve hours, but Yuna will emerge as a Summoner. Have a bit of faith."

"I believe in her more than someone like you can comprehend..." muttered Lulu, staring down at the relaxing Andrew, deliberating whether or not she should step on his face...

Opening his left eye, Andrew warned, "If you're going to keep staring, I'm not going to be polite either."

Making the meaning of his words clear, Andrew stared at Lulu's partially exposed thighs, hidden behind a veil of belts and adorned with black lace that extended halfway up her milky thighs.

Waving her right hand, Lulu gathered mana/energy from the air, causing a tiny spatial vortex to appear above Andrew's location. From within, a weak but exceedingly swift bolt of lightning emerged, aimed at his face.

Surprising Lulu immensely, the basic Thunder magic that was intended to teach him a lesson never reached its target. Instead, a shimmering veil of cascading white light materialized around his body, deflecting the bolt back into the vortex from which it came. At the same time, a similar vortex appeared above her head, instantaneously striking and briefly paralyzing her as the electrical energy coursed through her body.

"Targetted magic doesn't work on me," remarked Andrew, his expression and tone casual as he stared at Lulu from his reclined position. Kimahri had drawn his three-pronged partisan on the opposite side of the room, but Andrew didn't pay him much mind as he covered his mouth to stifle a yawn, adding, "Also, you reap what you sow. Don't get mad at me when you were the one that brought magic into a friendly discussion..."

Gritting her teeth, causing electricity to surge between her molars, Lulu was tempted to hit Andrew with a wide-range spell but promptly decided against it as she didn't know what other tricks he had. If she hit him with Bio or Demi and had them returned to her...

Realizing that Andrew wasn't a simple opponent, Lulu forcibly expelled the lightning energy from her body before finding a place to sit. She was tempted to try her luck when the faint sounds of Andrew's snoring began emanating through the chamber, but after several minutes of deliberation, she decided to follow his example by taking a short rest...

Hearing the sound of an elevator whirring, Andrew opened his eyes, rising to a seated position as Wakka, followed by an immature-looking man with bronzed skin, spiky, dyed blonde hair with brown roots, blue eyes, and a predominately black and yellow outfit that made him stand out like a sore thumb, made their way into the antechamber.

Lulu, evidently still annoyed even though several hours had passed, rose to her feet, her husky, feminine voice layered with venom as she asked, "What are you doing here, Wakka? And why did you bring this outsider...?"

"Oh...uh, it's hard to explain..." answered Wakka, waving his hands as Lulu approached with fast steps.

Though it looked like she was about to slap Wakka across the face, a faint gasp escaped Lulu's throat, her eyes widening as she got a better look at the youth accompanying him.

Feeling unnerved by Lulu's presence and looks, the youth averted his eyes and asked, "I-Is the Summoner alright?" in an awkward tone, clearly unnerved.

Instead of answering the youth's question, Lulu, recovering from her momentary stupor, asked, "Who...are you...?" in a tentative, much softer tone.

Before the youth could answer, the predominately crimson, gold-trimmed shield barring entry to the Chamber of the Fayth began to shake, opening a few seconds later. From within, covered in sweat, barely conscious, and clinging to the wall for support, Yuna shambled forward, taking the first of several steps that led down from the chamber before stumbling.

Wasting no time, Andrew darted past Kimahri before the latter could leap forward, catching the stumbling Yuna, supporting her nearly limp body as he mused, "These are the first steps on your journey. Best not to stumble too much..."

Adopting a smile, Yuna whispered a faint "Thank you..." before rising with Andrew's assistance, taking a moment to fix her hair before narrowing her eyes and stating, "I've done it. I have become a Summoner!" with notable excitement and a fair amount of relief in her expression and tone...

Following the confirmation of Yuna's successful promotion, demonstrated by her ability to summon a large, feminine, bird-like creatures with dragon wings, purple scales, red feathers, and a long mane of feathers fashioned into a ponytail, the village of Besaid made merry with festive abandon. For the Spira, Summoners represented hope, a momentary reprieve from the suffering imposed upon them by Sin, a colossal, whale-like monstrosity that could erase entire cities with its peerless gravity magic and ability to generate huge tidal waves. Thus, while there was a discernible sense of melancholy among the villagers, particularly the children, no efforts were spared to celebrate Yuna's promotion and her final night in the village that had become her home...
