1. Rodney Murdoch

Rodney Murdoch is the Lord Commander of the Rosarian Army, a close friend of Elwin Rosfield and husband to Lady Hanna Murdoch. He was the tutor of Clive Rosfield, teaching him how to wield the sword. Murdoch and Elwin are very close, so much so that His wife, lady Hannah remarks that they are like brothers.

2. Tyler

Tyler is a Shield of Rosaria, the "royal guard" of the duchy to protect House Rosfield and the Phoenix. Opposite to his fellow Shield, Wade, Tyler was born into a noble family and followed in his father's footsteps by enlisting in the Rosarian forces at a very early age. He was very close with Clive often accompanying him on missions and hunts. he is 37 years old. He acted as a mentor to his friend and fellow shield Wade.

3. Wade

Sir Wade is a Shield of Rosaria who is steadfast and loyal to his duchy. He is still young, but looks up to his mentor, Sir Tyler. Wade was born poor, but was inspired to join the Rosarian army where he became a trusted and dependable soldier. Wade is 23 years old during his time as a shield of Rosaria

4. Biast

Biast is a member of the Bastards, a group of Bearer soldiers under the service of Sanbreque consisting of himself, their sergeant Tiamat, Aevis and Clive Rosfield. He was very close to Clive Rosfield during his time serving Sanbreque. Having been with Clive ever since he was branded. They share a very close relationship with each other, so much so that in fact that Clive considers Biast as a sort of brotherly figure to him.

5. Aevis

Aevis is a member of the Bastards, a group of Bearer soldiers under the service of Sanbreque consisting of himself, their sergeant Tiamat, Biast and Clive Rosfield.

During a battle between Dhalmekia and the Iron Kingdom, Aevis and the Bastards were dispatched to the iron archipelago to slay the Dominant of Shiva, Jill Warrick. Prior to this mission he spent years working as guard in the Iron kingdom in hopes of gaining valuable intel.

6. Tiamat

Sergeant Tiamat is the leader of the Bastards, a group of Bearers tasked with dangerous missions comprised of himself, Aevis, Biast and Wyvern. Tiamat was rumored to have been born into a noble family of Sanbreque, but was abandoned after his powers awoke. His real name is unknown. Tiamat either joined or was forced to join the Imperial army where he became the leader of a group of Branded assassins known as the Bastards. At some point during the 13 years after Sanbreque conquered Rosaria, Tiamat took an enslaved Clive in from the front lines and gave him the call sign "Wyvern", trained him and made him part of the Bastards. Tiamat is a stern and serious man who only cares for the mission, however he has a kind side to him, taking Clive off the front lines and training him personally and making him part of the Bastards
