Nikita was being dragged by his  familier to the river. He was covered in slime and some of them even went inside of his mouth accidentally.

"I just left you for 5 minutes Dii, and you got knocked out by it Dii? Maybe the roll snail has found a way to defend themselves Dii. Throwing slime at the people who can't stand stuff like that Dii.

Well, you ate some cures for wounds. Good medicine always tastes bitter Dii."

The small fluffy monster dragged him near the river and splashed water on his face to wake him up and he succeeded.

"Hey, are you awake Dii?"

"Huh!! Wait! This slime. Urg!!!"

"Just jump into the water and wash yourself Dii. I am feeling the same discussing feeling that you're feeling Dii. Can you just turn it off Dii?"

"Later!! I will show them that they crossed the line!!!"

Nikita jumped up and attacked a snail which was peacefully eating a tasty-looking pink mushroom and minding his own business.

"Aaahhhh!!!!!"

Boommm!!!!!!!

His bond was stunned…

"I will kill them all!!! I will show them what I am made of! You dare to drench me with your filthy slime!!!"

Boomm!!!

Boomm!!

Boomm!!

"Wow, I thought he was a weakling Dii. But his punches are really strong. One blow is enough to smash a snail Dii.  I guess I have to push him into difficult situations so that he can level up while screaming like a lizardman Dii."

So, his familier left to collect food for dinner.

Nikita was exhausted after killing more than a thousand roll snails in just a day. The area around the fountain became a corpse yard filled with dead bodies.

"I feel so satisfied now."

"Wow, I had no idea this beautiful place would turn into slimy slug smash Dii."

He came back with a huge purple fruit for dinner.

"I levelled up."

"I know Dii. You haven't learned how to block the connection between us Dii. I can feel everything Dii. I'll have to teach you because it's really annoying at night Dii."

Nikita looked at the fruit and his expression became like a puppy waiting for his master.

"I wonder who is the master here Dii -_-."

It's been a few months since I've been hunting inside the Kiplar dungeon. Ever since I've killed the roll snails, levelling up has become really hard. 

It took me a week to increase my level to .50 and skills are barely coming in.

The fluffy monster is really helping me with the directions, food, even he's telling me how to kill a difficult opponent.

He's really a good monster.

A few days ago, I saw a monster which was a level second awakened tag. I didn't get that well. So, I asked fluffy and he said that a second awakening happens when someone passes level one thousand. 

And I became more depressed. It was something that will take me a century to achieve. It's only the 50th floor's hidden dungeon. And there's more of them. 

It took me over 3 years to reach level 160. So reaching that level is pretty much impossible for me now. I thought that I could get away from here in 10 years. But it looks like I will die before I reach level 1000. 

The more I climb the floor, the harder it will become for me to survive.

     Hah…

Both of them made a treehouse on the highest tree of the Kiplar dungeon. It was so big that a level 500 mountain goat looked like a small creature from up there.

Nikita was sitting on the edge of his house to see the morning view in the early morning. He thought about his life, his achievements, it was empty.

"Owner, are you alright Dii?"

"Oh, good morning."

"Good morning Dii. What are you thinking so hard about in this early morning Dii? Go back to sleep."

"I have to level up more. So I will face the lizardmen today."

The monster looked at him with a disappointing expression and said,

"I knew you would say that Dii. I couldn't even sleep at night because of your wild inner thoughts Dii. For peace's sake, learn how to control our connection already Dii! It's been a year since we made a pact together Di!!"

"My thoughts aren't as dirty as yours at least-_-."

"Shut up Dii! I'm going through my period Dii!" 

"I know that-_-."

"Ugh Diii!"

I figured out a thing last week that made me look like an idiot. That monster's voice is a boy's voice. He loves to play, hunt and he loves to stay outside and warm himself under the sun just like a boy. 

My dumb mind still can't believe that the monster I am bonded with is a female -_-.

And she just hit puberty last week.

"Diiii!!! Where is the sweet potato Diii!!!"

"I don't know-_-."

"I am craving for it Diii!!!"

She's behaving just like a 14 years old girl who's going through her first period and making a mess all over the house-_-. Now she's going to cry all night long just because she lost her sweet potato.

"Waaaaaaa!!!!! Diii!!! I can't find it Dii!!!!!!"

   Here it goes again -_-.

"Coming!! Just wait, don't break any tables!! I will search for it!"

Hah! I feel like I'm handling a spoiled teenage girl.

Well, it's good on the other hand. Because at first, she thought that I was going to be a bad master. Poor her did what she could to make her stomach full that time. So she made a pact with me just to fill her belly in exchange for anything.

At first, she was a little scared of me when she did something wrong. She thought that I would beat her. But when she understood that I'm not the type of person who enjoys violence, she finally opened up to me.

How her previous masters treated her, what kind of life she led, how old she was, she told me everything one by one. Because she is comfortable around me.

I guess I'm a good guardian after all.
