An ID card

Kairos was sitting in front of the mv 'tv' in the room he was staying in for all day long. The world he came to was really different from the one he used to live in.

In this world, there are floating islands, people who moved permanently on the moons, living a great life without worrying about the monsters, and places that ignore every logical explanation of nature, everything he was seeing felt like a total sci-fi world to him. It was beyond a person's imagination.

Suddenly, Irosa came inside his room and asked, "Owner, can you explain why that man brought us here when we don't even know him?" 

"He needs us, that's why."

His feelings towards us aren't evil, but good and grateful. The way he talked to me this morning felt like he was relieved. He was at peace

"Irosa, we should wait until he comes back. I am sure he went out to buy something for us. He will be back soon."

And then, the iron door of the room opened and Stevan walked in. "Were you guys waiting for me? Sorry if I'm late. I went outside to buy something for you. Here. Get changed."

Stevan gave them two sets of clothes and both of them changed into them.

"Wow, I've never thought that I will wear shirts and trousers in this world again. But somehow, the evolution of fashion is stuck in 2025 in this so-called advanced world."

And then, Irosa walked out of her room wearing a short shirt and white top with white high heels. She was so beautiful that both Kairos and Stevan couldn't move their eyes away from her.

"Stevan, You did a nice job-_-!", Kairos showed him a thumbs up and Stevan bragged about his choice in fashion.

"Hehehe!! My dream was to become a fashion designer when I was 20 years old. The young lady will catch everyone's eye on the street."

"You boys are really perverts!"

"Don't take it in the negative way Irosa, it's a compliment. You look great in that new outfit. I love it. Double thumbs up for you."

Somehow, her face became red.

It was about 4 in the afternoon when the three of them went outside for the registration in a school for awakens.

There is a school in the capital city where awakens study together to learn more about monsters and receive training as a soldier to demolish the monsters. It was necessary to become a hired merchant and an adventurer in this world. Without a licence, no one is allowed outside the city, playing the role of a hero or an adventurer.

The people who took a test in a guild are called free adventurers who take 30% of a monster's profit whereas an academic adventurer takes 85% profit.

But the cost of an awakened academy is expensive. That's why so many people don't take academic training as a soldier. They take a smile test in the guild to pass the test and rely on their raw strength to face a powerful monster. The guild doesn't offer any training for the free adventurers. That's also the reason why the free adventurer death rate is above 40%.

"I mean, Irosa and I don't have any knowledge about this world. Then how are we supposed to interact with the people inside?", Kairos asked Stevan with great curiosity.

"The heroes will be entering the same class as yours. So, it won't be a problem. Plus, it's a great opportunity for you to get closer to them and strike an attack on their back."

"I see, it's a great plan but also a foolish one. If they recognise us by their system, what will we do? Destroy the school?" 

"Hahahaahah!!! You don't have to destroy the school though. And the exam is in 3 months. We are just going to register you as a citizen of this country." Stevan went inside a big building by using a teleportation gate and stopped in front of a receptionist.

"Excuse me, I'd like to apply for an Id card for my kids. Here's my ID and the confirmation card." 

Stevan gave her a card and the woman took both of them to a room to make their ID card by following the instructions given in the conversation card.

"Please put your hand on the screen. We need your fingerprint to make an ID. It's important for all kinds of verification requests."

"Yes." Kairos puts his hand on a screen by concealing his mana as much as he can to make his level as low as possible.

"Mi Kairos Fransis, your level is B -25class. Congratulations! It's my first time seeing a strong man who's about to enter the Awakened academy. Being that strong at the age of 16 must be thrilling!"

 Wait, 16? I wasn't 16 even when I died either. I have to warn Irosa not to have a chit-chat with any people for now.

"Yes, I worked really hard to achieve this," Kairos answered.

"Here's your ID card. Have a nice day, Mr Fransis."

"Thank you."

'Now, I have to warn Iros….' But when he got out of the room, he saw Irosa standing with her ID card in the middle of a huge crowd. 

"What the hell has she done!" She quickly went inside the crowd and heard people talking about her class being an A-40.

    Ugh! Shit-_-.

Irosa noticed Kairos, so she walked out of the crowd like melting butter and grabbed his hand."Owner, I tried to conceal my mana as much as I could but the machine seems to be broken. So, I ended up being an A rank. What is your score, owner?"

"Oh.. you don't need to know that. Let's go, Stevan is waiting for us. We have to register for the exam now."

"Yes, owner."

If she becomes a student, she will catch the eyes of the heroes. This will give me a chance to face them closer than before.

But there's also a disadvantage. If she annoys them, they will try their best to eliminate them.

Let's take a small break for a little while. She and I have a lot to study and then we can prepare ourselves to kill the human disaster before it can release its wings. We should kill the caterpillar before it grows poisonous wings.

"Are you done?" Stevan asked.

"Yes, we are done for today. Aren't you going to welcome us as your son? Mr Fransis?"

"Hahaha!! Yes, yes. Let's go get something to eat before we register for the academy."

"Sounds good. So where are we heading?" Kairos asked.

"A kizza shop."

"Kizza-_-?"

"Yes, it's really tasty food. You should try the moat rheese. It's wholesome."

  Hah… I am really living in a world where pizza is called kizza and goat cheese is called moat rheese in this dimension. I'm going to smack someone's brain out if he calls me mrother instead of brother now. 

This multiverse shit is driving me crazy.
